Just did a quick run across HLJ and HS...
Looks like the listed price is roughly 6500 yen ($84 USD).... It's discontinued too so you won't find it in online stores any more, but if it was worth 84USD, and you saw it for what I presume is 26USD, how is that seller making any profit if it's legit? Again, it's definitely great to see the product in packaging before you buy it, because you can look for all the things that identify a bootleg.
Oh sorry! Correction on that last post: It's not always an "H". Both of mine happened to be an H, but for sure the stickers are ... Here's some sticker examples

And yes, bootlegs exist and are quite ugly too. Here's great example of one:
Versus
What the fake has:
-Flat Hair colour that's blatantly obvious to distinguish.
-Skin tone is too yellow, and skin itself is shiny.
-Fine details are terrible sculpted; compare belt buckles (this is why I would buy detailed figures so spotting fakes are easier
:tup
-The jacket is lacking a smooth glossy finish.
-The rock cannon isn't properly sculpted either (seen in picture below)
Here's the blog someone posted about this figurine (slight language warning): http://kanimeblog.wordpress.com/2010/05/09/brs-fake-black-rock-shooter-pvc-figure/
