Grab long nail, pry it upwards.........slowly.

I'll stop there.

And get shot in the face with that shock rifle? Who's getting tortured now?

Well, no one considering this person is now dead.

How about the keys to EVA-02-

*gets kicked in the face by a flying Asuka*

I think that'd just be a huge paperweight for him...

Look what I found...

Why it's the RX-78 and not something, I don't know, more powerful and not historically ancient I'll never know.

@JaiAE86: Hello there.

Today's mobile suit is not only a fan favorite but is one of the very reasons the franchise is as well-known in the states as it is today. Welcome the XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero, Version EW, or as it's commonly referred to -- Wing Zero Custom (despite the fact it's not a custom at all).

Angelic wings and all, the OVA version of Wing 0 differs from the version apparent in the series not only in appearance but subtleties as well: the OVA version lacks the piledriver shield thus nullifying the need for the Neo-Bird mode, however both shortsighted shortcomings are overcome by the use of it's four wings; the two larger main wings being used for atmospheric re-entry (replacing the sole purpose of NB) and can also be used defensively. With the smaller two sub wings mounted on it's torso providing continuous thrust and housing two beam sabers, one in each of the pylons on the upper section of the wings shoulders. The forearms also mount sensor arrays (I always wondered what the hell those were!) that gives the TBR unprecedented accuracy when used, finally the OVA version has a Zero Frame which is it's final layer of armor protection. Piloted by Mr. "I'll kill you." Heero Yuy himself, Zero is capable of destroying an entire colony or resource satellite with just a single shot of the TBR, making Zero one of the single most powerful Gundams in the franchise. What makes Zero what it is (other than the twin buster rifles of course) is the coveted ZERO System, a combat computer/pilot interface that essentially links with the mind of the pilot providing extensive combat data and a multitude of possible outcomes. If used properly the ZERO could very well lead the pilot to complete and utter victory, that is if he/she doesn't succumb to mental instability or, worse of all, death. The ZERO system induces a great deal of strain on the pilots mind which can blur reality, resulting in being incapable of differentiating between who's friend and foe. ZERO is an acronym for "Zoning and Emotional Range Omitted".

While originally planned for destruction on a course to the sun (following the events of the series), that course was quickly diverted once the original Operation Meteor is commissioned by the Barton Foundation. Ultimately destroying itself with the recoil of it's own weapon (having undergone damage previously) but not before succeeding in the planned mission (the initial plot of EW begets me...). Throughout both the OVA and series, it's implied several times that Zero has some form of an AI and/or sentience to some degree as it's not only activated on it's own, but has apparently convinced Heero to carry out and/or finish the mission at hand.

Armaments

2x Machine Cannon
2x Beam Saber
1x (2x when separated) Twin Buster Rifle

- Search Eye
- ZERO System
- Atmospheric Re-Entry Wing Protection System

Physics fail in EW.

Having mechanical wings can't possibly make you fly like a bird in space since there's no air for the wings to push off of. Correct me if I'm wrong btw.

Buster rifle is so OP.

/end rant.

The main wings are lined with thrusters, as are the sub wings. It's pushing off it's own thrust...not the air. :p

And of all the things that are fail in GW, THAT'S what you focus on?

Surely, you remember he's Gundam challenged :p

LOL, yeah I left the house for a few hours after I posted the autoplay thing.

And my Madoka Nendoroid came in today, yay!

Do you only post here solely to make witty remarks? :grumpy:

I watched Endless Waltz like many many many years ago. I don't remember much about it....
Heero blows himself up, DeathScythe, HeavyArms and Sandrock kill Serpents for like 5 hours, bad guy (or girl in this case) has a change of heart....Nataku's pilot is a killjoy..... Zechs is a good guy now and flies off with some chick to neverland..... oh and Trowa does an acrobatic flip!

Me? No, not at all. I'm just saying there's a long list of other fails that would come to mind long before that (granted, you didn't know), like for instance...Heero should be dead; how in the hell did he survive a 20, 30-foot free fall from the cockpit hitting the ground as hard as he did? Quattre holds him and start's glowing or some ish - WTF is that?

Oh, and Heero didn't blow himself up, only Wing O. He was later cryogenically frozen and subsequently reanimated in Mars Century. I forget what the year was, it's all in Frozen Teardrop -- he's referred to now as "Sleeping Beauty and/or "Princess Aurora".

No, just say something when the opportunity presents itself :p

Now if you excuse me, I'll resume my lurking:sly:
