Olivia Lufkin is one of those rare, exceptional idols that have an awesome, REAL voice, and whose songs, either by herself or in a band, aren't freaking plastic lame. She's pretty fine too.

BEHOLD! MAZINGER Z!!

Here we see Mazinger punching what appears to be Getter Robo into the ground! Two mighty robots doing battle, what could be better than that?

While the Mazinger series is cool, awesome and fun, it certainly doesn't take itself completely seriously, as can be seen from some of the situations they get themselves in, and some of the characters themselves:

Like the Gundam series, Mazinger has been around for a very long time, and has proven itself as both influential and popular. Here we see a shop in Japan made to look like Mazinger Z is peeking in!

Like Gundam, Mazinger Z has had its share of spinoffs and new series, though not quite as many as Gundam . Mazinger's most recent iteration is called "Shin Mazinger! Z-Hen: On Television" ("New Mazinger Impact! Z Chapter: On Television"), aired in 2009 and was directed by Imagawa, who also directed the fantastic G Gundam and Giant Robo shows.
