how do u guys draw fanart with out looking at a single pic and just picture it in ur head(i just have boxy characters)

here is another pic, killy on the top with his gravity gun (killy being the main character making his way up the levels looking for net genes), and chibo down on the bottom. i think i might make a wallpaper using that top part of the image with killy and his gun, thats a good shot.

i'll tell ya what i know so far, killy, the guy with the gun, is trying to make his way from leel to level upwards looking for people with a special gene called a net gene. in the world he lives in there is a megastructure which apparently cannot be busted through, then goes down into the earth for 3000+ levels. In this world there are humans spread all around, killy comes from near the bottom and people p top never believed that people actully lived that far down. There is no written language anymore, and people coexist with cyborgs, many bad, few good. Thats about alli know, this is just the story of his journey.

somehow, that time is best to sit down and just until 4 am. the turnout was ok, but to much use of solid black lines. i think the mix~match of colors in the white shirt area was pretty neat :sly:

i feel better now, and tired.
 
I kinda like it myself, the eyes and the mouth are pretty good.
Personally I have the hardest freaking time drawing mouths. I can draw them yes, but it takes me like 15 tries to get right expression I'm looking for. I was amazed at how such a feature drastically changes the character you draw.

the oekaki contests are really broad subjected, ie. fantasy(just ended today jan 26th), the devil, oriental culture, lotr, ect. i found some narrow band threads there, beware, they may be borderline flaming :shy: i swore there was a rayearth section somewhere deep in the kanji listings :sick:

I watched about half of the Cowboy BeBop movie today and I must say, I MUST GET THE DVD! Absolutely one the best movies I have ever seen. :drool:
 
i didnt like the movie as much as the series, the last fight was very very well done indeed, but overall the movie was cheese compared to the series.

I have it and it's pretty good, definitely worth picking up. But like you, I have seen some of the series, but not all of it; so I can't compare the movie to the series. If Best Buy would ever get the rest of the series in stock, I would buy the rest of it; I still need the 2nd and 5th Sessions.
 
cowboy beboop wasnt realy a series i would consider buy, or dloading, but i did buy the directors comiplation which ahs all the eps i liked anyway, so i'm happy with that

Well since I already have four of the six sessions of the series, along with the movie, I might as well buy the rest of the series.

Well I would have already had all of Bebop, it's just that Best Buy only seems to have Sessions 1, 3,4, and 6 in when I go, which is really dumb. I've had the four sessions since last summer, and they have still yet to get the two I need in and it is really starting to fry my cookies. At least though, I have all of Trigun to watch!
