Yeah it's my starter car and I had to do something with it. I will be making an autocross Miata soon and that will be Ed (Cowboy Bebop) themed. Also got a funny decal that says "ANIME GIRLS ARE NOT REAL". Need to work that onto something. I do have an Initial D Trueno and a Ring Taxi M5 though.

Makes me wish I had an Xbox 360.Still in the process of trying to get one. Though when I get one, I'll probably be getting Forza 3 first.

[TCwatchlistrambling]Anyway, going to be finishing Ouran High School Host Club finally after like two years (Started it, watched it, stayed on-hold for two years, then restarted it late August.), wonder how that last episode will turn out from the preview at the end of 25. I'm going to then be starting Eden of the East tomorrow and The Sacred Blacksmith on Thursday.

I still don't know what show I'll watch after I finish Bamboo Blade next Thursday. Probably will be Nabari no Ou, got to get back to that, or Honey and Clover which I got 12 episodes in, but have forgotten so much I'll have to restart for it to make sense.<_<[/TCwatchlistrambling]

But seriously though, I used to liek Come but then I got entirely bored of it.. I've heard better mellow melodies with a similar but punchier kick.

Some of you may remember that, a whiiiile back, I mentioned that I had found a good version of Magic Knight Rayearth dubbed in latinamerican spanish, just as I watched it when I was 15 years old. I had postponed watching it again for this or that reason, and one of them was out of fear that my beloved first anime would turn out to be absoltely unbearable 15 years later.

Well, my spiritual journey begun today. My wife (she also watched it back in the day and is a huge fan too) and I started watching Rayearth again. I had some shivvers when it started and instead of Yuzurenai Negai sounded the awful spanish dubbed song. There I was watching my first anime, the series that really got me hooked in this crazy world, just as I watched it back then, in its adulterated, translated glory.

Surprisingly, everything went better than expected. It was just as I remembered it. Of course now I notice a lot of things that back then, and probably out of miserable memory capacity, I had completely forgotten. For instance, I didn't remember how much SD action this had in the first two episodes, but so far is has been even funny... thoug I know I'm still biased. It's music usage is still great, though I haven't forgotten the music, I still play a few of the OSTs regularly.

As the show goes on, let's see if it can keep itself up or will crumble down in pieces. I'll be reportin'. AOS, you can now call me retro with all reason. I can't believe this is almost 20 years old.

Bad idea. A year ago I bought Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Forza 3 and Fallout 3 in anticipation of buying a 360 the following payday. Then... several months went by before I actually got around to buying it.

mmhh after watching the trailer, even my curiosity is piqued.

Anyway, the second song for my brother's week is Strangers, from Wolfsrain. Here is what he has to say about it:

*I haven't actually watched Wolf's Rain (although I heard it's pretty good), so I wouldn't really know how this song works in the context of the series. However, being a life-long Yoko Kanno fan along with my brother, it's really no surprise that I like some songs so much without even knowing their origin. "Strangers" is one of those songs. When you hear about Wolf's Rain, most people will direct you towards more iconic songs from the series, such as "Stray" or "Gravity", however, most people seem to pass this song up, much to my chagrin! It's easily my favorite song on the soundtrack, and one of my favorite Kanno songs overall.
It starts out sounding like jazz, and then as the song progresses it becomes more and more unique. I'm not entirely sure, there's just something I find overly captivating about this one. Here's hoping this will be a nice new discovery for you, and if you already knew this song, then here's hoping you'll give it some extra love for me! ;D

This song is freaking cool. Absolute genre-buster. Something as eclectic could only be the work of Kanno.
