I meant as in, just think of rather than read. But either way, I actually have not had one argument about it, which I consider pretty good.

Bar one, anyway.

Anyway I need to find some time to start TTGL, since I've vowed for that to be the next show I watch. I mean, I even went and watched Rebuild 2 twice out of boredom so TTGL is almost overdue now for me :lol:

Haruhi is one of those characters that aren't explicitly cute or hot.... but she has both presently so subtly.... you can call it cute, OR you can call it hot... To this day I still haven't settled on either one exclusively.

Btw, Sephy... hear this out now before you go buying figures in the future....


Don't get this... the details are so iffy. The hair is too round-edged.


This one... is huge.. 1/6th to be exact. The pose is neat, but I find the face a little too cheeky... maybe that's just Kuroko though. The base is a transparent yellow-tinted acrylic... cheesy 90's space-crap.

There was another one I saw I thought was crafted really nice... eyes were about as big as Kuroko's, even though it's a 1/8th... I don't remember which show it was from... Dragon chronicles or something...


14 cm... not worth your time or money... get something bigger.

AOS- I have that Kotobukiya Asuka... I love it. It's the figure that got the spot right next to my monitor remember?

I've been wanting that Kuroko for a while and I've seen that FF one before. Looks very nice.

LOL oops! But now you know how much nicer the Black Blade will look since all I've examined extensively were the BRS figures...

And that Kuroko is mad huge ... it'll make your asuka feel small... really small.
 
Man, the proportions of that Kurisu Figma is way off. Especially her head, it's too long.

God, everything about it is just wrong. That other one you showed me before, that is what she needs to look like.

However, this Ika Musume Figma... I. Want. It.

Yes but I've examined Asuka figures extensively and looking at the 4 I just happen to have sitting right here beside me her hair is pretty much like that on all of them. I think it only stands out so much on the Kotobukiya one because it's a rather large figure. It looks great though. The Kotobukiya figure looks very good in person btw.

DAT KUROKO figure is awesome.

Well what I particularly like about the Kotobukiya one is they way they sculpted her body. All the lines are correct and visually pleasing. If they had mixed that with the detail and quality of the Alter one then, my friends, we would have the perfect and definitive Asuka figurine. The Alter one is nicer overall (by far) but the Kotobukiya figure really nailed her body and I like the pose (again not as much as the Alter figure though). I would put the Alter one beside my monitor but it's pretty tall and expensive and I'd be afraid it would get knocked off somehow. That one stays safely in its box.

I need to expand on my tastes beyond just GSC and MF... like Alter and Kotobukiya. :p

Wave can go die... it's all skin and swimsuits.... with crude facial detail... :yuck:

There is a Wave test suit Asuka that I think they really nailed the see-through part of the suit but the rest is too shiny. I also don't like how it's only 1/10. I do really want their apron Asuka though. That figure is great but again it's 1/10 size. The only cool thing about their 1/10 figures is all the heads are interchangeable lol. I think I have a figure or two by Wave (larger than 1/10) but I don't remember which ones. They're in the closet.

Also guys Revoltech > Figma. The figures themselves generally look better and come with more accessories. IMO.
