Well, this is it, my big 999th post! I officially will not post any more msgs until I finish my 1000th post sketch for my 1000th post :P that, or when I crap out and decid my drawings suck, which ever one ocmes first
 
Yes! here it is! my 1000th post (700+ belng to the general anime thread and anime girl thread ^.^)

sorry to all who didn't make the picture, I was running out of room and ideas, maybe on the 2000th post celebration ;-)

I'd post more and stuff but GTP is extremely lagged and usually takes me 5-10 minutes to get one response to show up after I type it, so yeah, big lag issues >:-/

That was real cool... makes me wish I had a scanner... My dad has one and maybe sometime soon I will get that thing hooked up in my room...
Problem is, I don't have the software to run it. However, I still could try hooking up the cables, opening the control panel and "add a scanner" then open "picture it" and try to get something from the scanner. :confused:

Would that work without scanner software loaded?

Anyway, thanks a lot. :D

It okey, the term Vanishing Boy mean 'a driver who keep passing other slower drivers while racing with him and suddenly dissapears'. :cool: (and I also got the name from the movie title 'The Vanishing Point') :D


BTW, thanks for including me there, afterall I got very very few friends here in GTP (which everybody want me to leave this community).

GoKents: if you get the name of the scanner you can go to the companys site and download the drivers for it, I don't think they would have any spectactular scanning software but you never know.

Vanishing boy: no worries, you hang out a lot here and nobody hates you; i'm gonna have to go watch this vanishing point now :)

thanks for the comments everyone! I think i'm gonna have to go work on another sketch, prob of my RO character there, I had a lot of fun drawing it :)

Not here in this thread (and my new 'Initial D Staging Area' which I got high praises for it), but the guys who are usually in 'Cars and General', and 'Gran turismo 4' keeps on b***h slappin me esp. my thread about Honda's, the 'VTEC Power Zone'.

Its a different atmosphere out here. :)

would it be "devil detective ragnarok"? main character is loki. I picked it up in hopes for a good port.....found something different though. :(

unrelated question, btw lonewolfe, what year/type celica do you drive anyway ?

I don't know much about this ragnorak besides the artbooks I see for sale with the various online stores.
Couldn't say any more than a guess. :confused:

I do want to bring up something else.
(spoilers ahead. ;) )

The Animatrix
I was suprised by the content, this was definately a good form for the story of the matrix to take. (I dare say that the real matrix movies should have been animes)

There were several stories (9 in all, I think) and each was different in terms of art, story and creator.

Some were good, others were not so good.

I would say I was most impressed by the story related to the rise of the machines, and one of the "neo stories".

The machine stories were the best... especially the story about our fight with them and what led to where the matrix picked up in the real movies.

That story had the most graphic and stirring scenes. :trouble:

However, an awesome skateboard chase scene was perfect for some diversity in the various adventures.

I would suggest this for a rental, maybe a purchase if your name is "daddy phat stacks" (as in your cash supply), but for my broke ass, this one is a cartoon network only thing. :lol:

I really liked the detective story, and I thought the samurai story was badass.

I've seen parts of 'Animatrix', indeed some great projects were on there, a couple were a tad too abstract if you ask me, but overall it's a great collage of different animation styles and techniques.
 
the animatrix is some of the stories are from citizens of zion, that skater one is that kid that open the gate in the movie

wow, the one i recieved was a supernatural detective anime story, which is reallt lame for the most part, got the worng one i think. :indiff:

Just for those Initial D fans, 4th stage episode 1 and 2 has been released. Its all over the net by now. Ill provide links to download, later.

Its best not to buy it until all 13 come out at once.
