Just finished Full Metal Panic. Liked it overall, but I felt it has too many episodes since some of them felt like fillers. It started off quite well but then got derailed from it's original plot for some reason. Caught up with it again at the end but still left many things unexplained. They might be explained in the sequel so I won't hold it against it just yet.

Somewhat disappointed. The beginning gave me hopes it would be fairly good but it turned out predictable, sometimes bland and mostly more of the same, without anything new or particularly interesting. Still, decent mecha action with some good comedy in the mix. A 7/10 for me.

Was going to watch the sequel and side story next but they fell down on my list. Will give them a try eventually.

My list looks like this:

Lucky Star
Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica
Bakemonogatari
Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu
Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Not sure which I'll watch next. Accepting suggestions :p

Yeah I put it there because of TC, and because of the videos you posted. The manga store visit ones, they were quite funny :lol:

But it's one of those, "will watch it eventually", not really a priority. And I can always drop it if it comes to that :p

More importantly: which one would you recommend? Maybe something not on the list?

Oh, forgot to include FMA:B in that list too.

The only other anime I saw that gave me that feeling was Elfen Lied.

It is, but I couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed with it though. It gave me hopes it didn't met in the end, maybe I was expecting too much, dunno.
 
Lucky star is good because it references a lot of other animes so unless you have a general knowledge of popular anime, you won't pick up the parodies... and really all this show has going for it is the parodies, and making jokes regarding RL and references to video games..

I just rock banded Sorairo Days (Drums Expert) and I think I got 93%

Can't help it when I see so many similarities. This type of show was first done 5 years ago.

However episode 5, they went back to making it way less similar. Episode 5 hardly reminded me of Code Geass except that one little thing I put in spoiler tags.

Actually I've watched quite a bit of Ouran at one time in my life so this should be no problem at all... Don't tell anyone though. If they ask, I like NGE.

Ouran is actually really good. I finished it finally a few months ago. It's a must see comedy show, even if it is Shojo. Both guys and girls can like it equally.

I've got bad news, and I've got good news.

First, the bad: Skyrim came out today, so... might not get as much done with Purple as I had planned.

Now the good: Steam is taking forever to update over the horrible wifi here at the recreation center, so I'll still get some work done. :p
