Wish I could help with that Vash but I'm doing the same thing.

Exams all week long.
Court for my car accident tomorrow.
A paper due on thursday.

:(

I should manage but video games and net time definately screw with my time management more than they should. :guilty:

Regarding Anime...
"Logan" is the one with the scruffy chin and break-dancing martial arts style.
How's this? (see attachment)

Logan? No wonder I was so lost by who you were talking about. His name is Mugen, like as in Honda in-house tuner. Unless for some reason they changed his name, which would totally throw me off.

Finals week blows big time. At least I don't have any papers due. Just studying needs to be done so I can refresh my brain about what all went on this semester.

Finals Week Suck T_t

Yes, they very much do. I had two tests today and while I don't feel I did bad on either, I don't necessarily feel I did overly great on either either. But at the same time, it would not really surprise me at the same time if I did well on either or both. And it only gets worse because I have another test in the morning and I really need to be studying for it right now, but I do not feel like it whatsoever. I am pretty tired after having taken two tests and studying all freakin' day before the second one. :grumpy:

The Dragonball series (Original, Z, GT) (1986-1995) is easily the greatest anime/manga series of all time.
It just has the greatest story line ever, is one of the longest running anime of all time and easily the best selling. The ideas were original and captivating with such power. It truly gave to the fans what they wanted. "A man who has ever fought so hard as one for those that he loves".

It's sad though now its gone :indiff:

Although, You've probably heard of these titles I just wanted to share some other legendary anime titles out there that I think are also awesome such as:

Initial D The greatest automotive based Anime since Speed Racer. This action-packed Drift fulled series is no doubt familiar with every Anime Fan. The story unfolds with Tak, a Young man who drifts legendary-like in his AE86 Trueno (Haichi-Roku) as he takes on a seemingly endless amount of the greatest drifters from around the world. 👍 👍

Orphen: This series kicks ass. No doubt about it. Its about a Sorcerer named orphen who, hence the name, is an orphen sworn to protect the innocent from evil and mythical tyrants. 👍 👍

Trigun: Vash the Stampede is a gun-slinging humurous Outlaw with a $60,000,000,000 reward to his name. "Love And Piece!"👍

X: Possibly has one of the greatest storylines of all time (hard to follow sometimes though) It is about a Protectors of Earth and Heaven. The main guy is named Kamui (I think) 👍

Pokemon: Yep, we have to admit it, it's probably the most well-known anime in the world And is still going strong. A multi-million dollar empire. No more to say. 👍 👍

There is heaps more such as Samurai Champloo, Rurouni Kenshin, Cowboy Bebop, Appleseed, One piece, Street Fighter, Ghost in the shell, Digimon, Blue Gender, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Clone Wars, Hack//sign but it would take too damn long...

we know about those, un less I am very mistaken.

What's that matter. :p

Just cause we know them doesn't mean we shouldn't hear what that member likes. :D

and Vash...
Mugen!

My bad. :guilty:
Like it matters all that much. ;)

I'm a Gene fan anyway. :trouble:

(avatar= christmas champloo) :p

Do you guys know of any other Anime that's looks like Appleseed? I don't really care about storyline but the look of that movie was bad ass!

I haven't seen the new appleseed. :(

Guessing though... I would think Metropolis is pretty close. 👍

Some of the scenes from Macross Plus might also give you that eye-candy fix your looking for. 👍

Yeah, its fine. I was just so confused about it and had no idea what you were talking about, I had to make sure I wasn't going crazy or something. :dopey: 💡

I am definitely a Jin (Gene) fan too. He is a definite bad ass. Mugen on the other hand I like, but it only seems to be about half of the time.

YAY! Christmas avatar! Did you make it yourself?

Trigun: Vash the Stampede is a gun-slinging humurous Outlaw with a $60,000,000,000 reward to his name.

Yes, I am that man! Mwhahahahahahaha! And remember, THIS LAND IS MADE OF LOVE AND PEACE!!! Mwhahahahahahahahaha!

Though I tend to disagree on the Dragonball series being the greatest ever. I much prefer Trigun, Rurouni Kenshin, Cowboy Bebop, among other over the DB series. Though the DB is a very good one and I will say I would like GT to be aired again so I can watch all of it, since I have missed a good majority of it.

Well, 👍
Vash I hear you on all points.

Also, regarding my favs...
while I am a big Dragonball fan (hell, I registered here as GoKents :p )...

I think Cowboy Bebop is the masterpiece amongst all anime.
Others are great as well but CB holds a special spot in my heart. :D

And the avatar... Just took my normal avatar and added a hat, simple as that. :D

I haven't seen the new appleseed. :(

-> Appleseed is great, the story is already up there, and the CG are awesome.

Kent

-> Well Metropolis is kinda chibi-looking but the story is godd for my tastes.

Kent
Some of the scenes from Macross Plus might also give you that eye-candy fix your looking for. 👍

-> I totally agree

Kent
I think Cowboy Bebop is the masterpiece amongst all anime.

-> Yup, I think its up there, but the series doesn't fit to my taste, I rate Trigun and Evangelion better than CB. CB only has a very good sountrack, but thats just me.(:

Vash The Stampede

-> I agree, DB series are too overatted, in fact some of the underrated anime series (like Go-Dannar and Saber Marionette R) are far better than DB series. (:

Hey, great to see some trigun fans out there. 👍

Hey Vash The Stampede, is there any word out yet on a trigun second season. I doubt it but just wanted to confirm  👍

Does the new Appleseed have the same story as the original or is it new?

Sorry for the one liner but I just wondered about that one question. :p

Here, how about a picture to make up for the lack of post length. :D

Yes, Trigun is great stuff. 👍

Don't really know and haven't heard anything as of late about a second season of Trigun. Though I really doubt there will be another season of Trigun. I just don't really see it happening. But then again, who knows, we all may get surprised.

But for the time being, you can always check out the Trigun manga. There are two or three books of manga listed under just Trigun. There is also the Trigun Maximum series and that series is still being run and printed as of right now. They are up to like Volume 7 or something with it. Everywhere I have read has said the manga and anime are different and have slightly different storylines, so if you do check out the manga expect that.

Am I the only one completely annoyed by ASs changing of their programming schedule each night? Why can't they just stick with one schedule for Mon-Wed, a replay of the previous Saturday's shows on Thurs, new episodes of shows on Saturday, and their so-called "comedy" block on Sunday? I am so fed up with them changing their schedule every other week, or so it seems, as it is. This only makes matters worse. Not too mention the fact that InuYasha on Tuesday's and Champloo on Wednesday's are both showing new episodes. It really makes it a pain to consistently tune into either when its hard to even remember what nights they are airing on. This is the reason I liked having both Thursday and Saturday airing the new episodes.

^ I know something that has a similarity (Graphic wise), but it doesn't have the same bad-ass quality of Appleseed, its called SD Gundam. (:

Is that like Mobile Suit Gundam Seed The Rumbling Sky? I got this Anime from my cousin for x-mas and I don't like it at all. I'll sell it if someone wants it.

^ Nope, its not part of the SEED universe. It more of a "family/mainstream" type series. It was shown on CN for a short time, but it wasn't as I expected, its too much kiddy for my taste. (:

Yeah it's just boring... It really has to be something special and wow me to keep my interest like Appleseed does. Thanks for the info though.

Well I watched Samurai Champloo tonight and it was really good stuff. I have yet to not like what I've seen from SC. I don't really know how the story is going to end, but it makes me want to come back every week and find out. Good stuff! 👍

el flexo
anyone here seen metropolis?(the latest one)

^ I do, the story is good but not to the point compared to Appleseed and Princess Mononoke. The story is deep, but I'm not really a fan of those Astro Boy art-pics.

Vash(on Champloo)-> Its a good series, but I'm still leaning on watching Samurai X/Ruruoni Kanshin first. (:

Why not just watch both? They aren't related in any way, other than both featuring samurai as the main character(s).

Rurouni Kenshin is a great series. The Samurai X movies are of just great quality. Too bad the entire RK series is not done with the same amount of production of the OVAs.

I miss RK

RK is very good stuff. I really need to get around to buying the second arc of the series so I can have all three. I also need to find the time to watch all of the series also. Though that is going to be hard with all of the freakin' homework I am having to do this semester.

i just started watching naruto last week. i'm up to episode 72. :) Its awsome with subtitles but the american dubbing is horrible.
