It's pretty interesting thus far, and at the same time contains mostly all of the tropes those four had.

Dragon Ball Super is still using flashback scenes from the old anime, lol
That's not necessarily a bad thing for me though. I'm cool with it. As long as Toei can keep up a consistent level of quality then it's all good.

Tonight's plans are to watch Kuroko's specials, watch Initial D: Project D to the Next Stage and if I have time, watch the first two episodes of Gangsta.

Tomorrow night, however, I'll start Black Lagoon. :D

Kuroko's specials were enjoyable. Much unlike others they were actually funny and contributed something to the plot. Some really gave me a good chuckle and a half.

Project D to the Next Stage was neat too, but the translations I had were terrible:

Was cool to see what went behind the production of Fourth Stage, plus the real cars they used for capturing the sound.

Gangsta. was neat. Nothing like I had seen before - a tad graphic but it's deal able. Protag reeks of MGS Snake as well; eye patch and all. Looking forward to watching more.

Decided to give Black Lagoon a miss and instead watch the second season of Kuroko - it's not like I don't want to watch Black Lagoon, but it's more the fact I don't really want to disrupt my understanding of the plot for Kuroko, just as it's getting really intense. Unless I get bored after the second season I most likely won't start it until I finish Kuroko's third season.
 
I had an anime opening from way back stuck in my head and went to youtube to watch it. Next thing I know i'm going from intro to intro of old shows and trailers of animes I used to watch. Evangelion, Slayers, Outlaw star, the whole lot. The memories, the nostalgia, the feels. *sniff*

Nah, no need. The translations are normally great but in this case this movie thing is as rare as rocking horse poop, so I was just happy to have it at all.

I'm surprised that there aren't more lewd pictures of Palutena circulating around, especially with Smash 4's widespread success.
 
Over the weekend I marathoned all of FSN 2014 first season, and started season 2. Action scenes are great, as are the visuals. The hype is real on this one.

Illya is adorable. Buh-sah-kah is the strongest!

I'm guessing you haven't read the VN. Either way prepare for a lot of talking in S2.

In other news I finished Scrapped Princess. Not bad but they should have done away with the sci-fi nonsense. It started getting confusing as they talked more about it.

Went back and restarted Darker than Black as well.

I'd like to watch the 2006 series, and I believe there was something with Illya too. My home computer is really crappy, so I'm not sure if I'll get to the VNs or not (As much as I'd like to).

Yeah don't watch studio deen's version. It's incredibly bad.
