I guess we should have warned you, you need to watch it at least three times to grasp the gist of it. However, if there is one show that's rewatchable to no end is FLCL. I've watched it 12 times.

In other news, I saw the first Initial D Legend film now and man that was good. The animation, car sounds & retelling of the story was fresh. It had a few inconsistencies , the biggest one being I thought this was set in the late 90s..... I didn't know the Previous gen Prius, Honda Jazz and SLIM flip cellphones were all there in the late 90s
Other than that, I'm looking forward to the rest of the films.

I don't recall a date ever being explicitly mentioned in Initial D. Then again, I've barely watched any of it so who knows.
