Death Note is pretty damn good, though I think the manga is much better (more discussion on what is going on and the likes). The live action bit was just okay, nothing much else to say really.

Has anyone caught the news on Dattebayo?
They've stopped doing Naruto. :lol:
Luckily, there are others who do Naruto and we will not have to worry all that much about a lack of english subbed Shippuden.
None the less, I'm keeping up with the Manga now and so I've found out more about the story than I had ever expected.

I started with issue 315 or so. That's about where the anime is at now (although it's not quite the same). Reading up through to 409 is a task (409 came out today) but I'm happy to be doing it. There's so much in the manga that doesn't get into the anime, it's a shame for the most part. :ouch:

Any way, thought I'd come and deliver the dattebayo news and of course, if anyone wants spoilers or a story of the differences between the manga and the anime please just PM me or ask in this thread. 👍

After Wangan Midnight is finished it should be announced very soon.

If you read the manga it has done three races in manga fith stage.


Plus the 86 might have to race a modified NSX... but its unlikely the 86 will do it though. :scared:

Argh, why does this always happen? Its not like there real, and yet we try to copy them "pretending" it was real. Why are they so stupid, to be more exact, why are adults stupid enough to let their kids believe in this kind of things? I know how I wish that the Death Note was real, but lets face it, it ain't gonna happen. 👎

Sheesh, I wish the news don't have to cover these type of stories. It just shows how stupid humanity really is.....

Anyhow, I think I'll never finish watching Death Note now since my PC is dead, and the laptop I'm using is just way underrated to watch movies in. :(

Listen, I know that no one is talking about this right now but I found out that "Sonic X" is coming back this fall! Think that they might do a new season?

I can see your anime list has a few "stuff" in it lol

Ive seen most of the things in there too.

Goshuusosama Ninomiya-kun was just too short...

Tokimeki Memorial Only Love was really good but the ending was just a sheitter... (Hoping for second season somehow)

Inukami looked at fist ep and was like WTF... didnt bother ep 2

Otome wa boku... is great actually lol strange but great haha...

Kanazuki no miko was alright.

Strawberry panic was also great in its own ways lol hehe... second season I wish. Strange that the existance of man just died l:F

Seto no Hanayome is what Im currently watching with Maharoba Heartful days.
Both are great but Seto... is so funny.

Right now,I'm stuck on Code Geass and Toppa Gurren Lagann.


Code Geass right Now is rocking my world. Episode 18- the end of the series gets REALLY insane. It becomes a twist fest.

I'm addicted to Anime. I've just finished The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya, and I loved it. I watched most of School Rumble (Evident from my Avatar) and loved it, and all of Death note, which dissapointed me. I need more. Does anyone know of any other good series that fit this criteria?
1: They must have English subs or dubs
2: I'm a 13 year old. I need an exciting story, or an enthralling love story (I'm not a normal 13 year old.)
3: I must say, quite often: "HOLY SH** THIS IS AWESOME"
4: I need to be able to see it easily. Preferably on Youtube.

So mostly, I would say your the shojo beat type and kind of Shonen.

Series Purchased My Comments
1. Genshiken Complete Collection (AmineVegas) - It one of those 'slice of life' anime series in which I do like. It fortells the lives of a genuine otaku (I'm beginning to be like that). I like it simple humor without any exageration. But sometimes the storyline can be a tad slow. I can definitly recommend this series. So far I've just finished DVD Vol.1, I havent took the time of watching Vol.2 & 3.

2. Gravion & Gravion Zwei Comp. Col. (received as a gift) - Just watched episode 1 so far. The story is so fast-paced, I don't know what's going on. But it does looks good 'fan service' galore.

3. Kujibiki Unbalance OVA (came w/ Genshiken) - I'm a fan of cute storylines. And episode 1 consist of an 'Iron Cref' scenario in which it is really fun. I do also like its flow of the storyline smooth and progressive.

Haven't even taken a peek yet
4. Gurren Lagann Vol. 1, 2, & 3 (AnimeVegas)

5. School Rumble 1st Season & OVA (AnimeVegas)

I watch at least 6 Episodes downloaded for PSP at night...

I have probably watched over errrmm a lot of animes :lol:

I have watched most of Mines GTR and nk4e list.

Crunchyroll is my decision friend :lol:

Try using Crunchyroll. Type what type of anime your intressted e.g. Romance and comedy and a huge list comes up and all you need is to make some descions and read comments.

Try Seto no Hanayome it will make you laugh. Its got to seasons 26 ep and 2 OVAs being released this year.

Its Romance Comedy. 14 or 15 boy gets engaged to a girl. Shes a mermaid. Since her identity was found out they would either have to kill thegirl but an option of them getting married :lol:

Oh here family is like a yakuza of the sea so it makes everything funny. Its worth a watch.

I wouldn't know my genres but the majority of it has to be with the art. I tend to go after characters than the anime it self.
 
^ Sorry, but FLCL wasn't one of my preffered list. I considered it too weird and high strung for my taste.

-> The preferences I listed above are my professional preference that I come up in the most recent day. I got hooked into animes just because the artwork they come up (Robotech, Sailor Moon, Voltron, and Ranma 1/2) back in the day. :)
