But Clannad>WM is totally a matter of taste. For me, I think I ended up rating WM>Clannad at ann. Just checked, gave WM 9/10, Clannad 8/10, and Clannad AS 9/10, so Clannad average 8.5/10.

WM is about heart-pounding racing thrills. It's well made, good soundtrack, good voice acting, and pretty solid story.

Clannad is a slice-of-life romance/comedy/drama, and the first one is even Harem the way all the girls want to get with Tomoya. It's pretty obviously based on a dating computer game. But great nonetheless.

So while for me they're both almost as good, they're so different it's like comparing apples and oranges. Or apples and onomatopoeias.

Clannad is a good start, the first other Anime I've seen besides ID and WM in about a year. And now, I'm watching other Anime.
