I want to watch K-ON as well as Haruhi, but I'm trying to get some shows off my watch list to make room.. like WGOK2, ID Stage 4, and Gosick.

Watching: Shingetsutan Tsukihime and Natsume Yuujinchou

Occasionally throwing in some FMA Brotherhood, just watched first episode of Soul Eater, may also continue it, and on break from but will get back to Bakemonogatari, The Tatami Galaxy, and Requiem from the Darkness.

Will probably watch in the not too distant future (in my queue at least) Samurai 7, Kekkaishi, Busou Renkin, Cross Game, Hikaru no Go, Mnemosyne, MS Zeta Gundam, Railgun, Turn a Gundam, Spice and Wolf, and Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou.

So what's the current watchlist that the general public is watching here at GTP?

I go to a weekly anime club, where we watch one episode a week form a playlist of shows. There, I'm watching Kaiji, Level E, Shiki, Astro Fighter Sunred and Natsume Yuujinchou. They are playing a few other shows (yes, including Puella Magi Madoka Magica) but they're not really my thing, so I don't usually watch them. :p

I also get together with some mates and we watch stuff; at the moment we're going through Spice & Wolf. A great show I'd recommend.

Aaaaand I'm trying to push through Wangan Mdnight, but apart from the cars it's not that great, so it's a bit of a struggle lol :O

On the list of "to watch next" is Clannad, K-ON, Gundam 00, Baccano!, The World God Only Knows, and MM!.

Baccano is pretty awesome :)

Haruhi was my first anime :D

BTW I used Superior Stalker Technique, found you, and made you my friend :)

Also I have found two anime I've seen that aren't listed on the site though I think I know why one of them isn't listed.

I noticed. :)

Out of curiousity, what two anime have you seen that they don't have? FYI their search function can be a little finicky.

Buttobi CPU and Bible Black lol. I sort of figured the last one wouldn't be on there but they have movies listed so I didn't know.

Some years ago, Bible Black was hard to come by (no pun intended), but now I probably know 3 places that have it, now that I'm going to tell anyone where. *ninja poof*

I see.

Anyway, just watched the first episode of Clannad. Off to a decent start... there were some pretty damn hilarious moments. The emotional stuff came off as a little forced and sappy though.

How far'd you get so far?

edit: What atrocious wording that was... Let me rephrase that:

What episode are you on so far?

Don't say that I'm looking forward to this show! lol.

Also thinking about it I'm not sure why either Buttobi CPU or Bible Black aren't listed on that site. It's not like they actually host anything there. The first one isn't even hentai. Hmm another one of the world's mysteries...

Bible Black got kind of boring when I watched it back then, not going to lie...

I'm willing bet it was the art.

Ah! BB=Bible Black! And there's a Walpurgis like Madoka! Madoka x BB?

I was thinking that when I was watching Madoka

I used to have the entire collection of whatever you call Bible Black on my HDD.

Same. Even gave it to 2 friends who wanted it lol. We were also watching it on someone's Livestream one time and when it got to certain scenes the dude started playing bluegrass music on top of it. Was actually quite [Jayne]HI-larious[/Jayne].

The style actually got better as it went along IMO. Like they got a bigger budget or something.

Now we bring you back to your regularly scheduled anime chit chat.

Mr. Yay has been watching too many mechas?

Not really. The only mecha-related shows I like are Evangelion and Full Metal Panic. Though admittedly, I've probably watched Evangelion more times than is safe. :p

And I have acquired quite a few mecha shows that I plan on watching, but haven't gotten around to 'em yet.

Anyway, I've only watched the first two episodes of Clannad thus far. I hope it gets less cheesy, because so far the characters aren't really very engaging. Funny and cute, yes, but they're gonna have to do better if they're expecting me to care about these people emotionally.

You haven't seen anything yet dude. I know how you feel right now.

In any case, I was snooping around KEY's website and found out there are some pretty sweet albums that exist! And now I'm currently listening to this:

Angel Beats Medley... Piano & Violin.

^^^^ That sounds nice. I keep forgetting I have that show. Do you recommend it?

Watch Clannad before you watch Angel Beats is what I would say.. but really, it doesn't matter. Watch it....

Then watch the Special (episode 14)...

edit: Finished ep 10 WGOK2... Teacher's hot.

Just checked and I didn't have episode 14 so I'll get it. Also what is episode 13.5? Is that necessary?

13.5 is aka "Another Epilogue"... so just watch it in order as numbered.
14's a special episode, like Railgun Specials, except it's super funny and you should totally watch it after finishing.

Key Sound Label works with plenty of vocalists, Lia being one of the most popular choices for OPs and EDs.... not that I'm complaining <3

I'm about as nuts for the songs she sings as Sephisaurus is about Springy pigtails.

Getting tired.. calling it a night.

Now watching Record of Lodoss ( so far it seems like a Japanese DnD)

wow, been a REAL WHILE since I last heard Lodoss War even mentioned. Typical old fantasy anime from what I barely remember, but plenty decent. It indeed is D&D style.

Is she Pretty or what?

I recently acquired Record of Lodoss War, among other things. :sly:

On a semi-related note, I sure am glad my hard drives arrive day after tomorrow. My 2 TB external is completely full now.

If anyone is ever interested in how animation works, I found this documentary on how Kyoto Animation does their job, Kanon 2006 happens to be the one being discussed. It consists of 8 videos, and I'm only posting the first. By following it on the youtube page, you can find the rest of the videos there.
