That Rei figure that was posted I saw at the last con I went to. It had a $240 price tag and the guy said he'd let me have it for $200. I of course said no but I wanted it pretty badly. It's beautiful! I could have purchased it but then I wouldn't have been able to get anything else and would have had to sacrifice a few meals. So instead I bought a few figures and ate that weekend.

Guy's ripping you off.. the listed price on HLJ was 12800yen which is $165. He totally had the intention to sell it for $200 to anyone, he just jacked up the price to make it look like he's personally giving you a discount by offering a "lower price".

Yeah I know how it works. I had never seen that figure before so I didn't know what it was going for. I passed on his offer.
Every figure I buy at a convention I know what they go for online and I also check every vendor to find the best deal on a figure I know I'm going to buy. Feelsgoodman.jpg.
