Today's mobile suit is piloted by the incredibly pompous, egotistical, self-implied omnipotent jackass of an antagonist -- Ribbons Almark. Welcome the CB-0000G/C Reborns Gundam/Reborns Cannon.

The Reborns Gundam is actually the result of accumulated data on every mobile suit from Veda, the end result is (as it would eventually turn out as above) a fusion of two previous developmental prototypes - the CBY-001 1 Gundam and the CBY-077 GN Cannon. The latter serving as the former's support unit. Fearing for the worse, Ribbons would eventually have the two combined into what's being profiled now. Developed specifically for Innovator (Innovade) use, the Reborns Gundam/Cannon, like the 00 Gundam, uses two solar furnaces (GN Drives) to square the initial output which therefore allows for previously unprecedented yields of performance. However, unlike the 00 Gundam, the Reborns Gundam/Cannon uses GN Tau Drives which are "fake" GN Drives. Why fake you ask? Simply put, the Tau Drives lack the TD Blanket that purifies (in a matter of speaking) the GN Particles, changing them from the raw and dangerous red particles to the green particles we know and love. The one fatal drawback of the Twin Tau Drives is it's duration; once the particles are discharged...they're discharged -- end of story.

Back to the profile, the Reborns Gundam/Cannon is second to none when it comes to brute strength, attack power, and sheer cheesery. In fact (and you've probably gathered this for yourself already) the Reborns is a transformable MS, varying between the Reborns Gundam (pictured above) and the heavy assault variant, the Reborns Cannon (Here). Ribbons may very well have been the very definition of pomposity but he could back up every word that came out of his mouth, and the Reborns was a testament to just that. While being able to best the 00 Raiser in battle (albeit not without sustaining heavy damage) the Reborns Gundam/Cannon is one of the few antagonistic weapons that was never actually destroyed and while Ribbons did ditch it to return to the 0 Gundam, it's never been confirmed if the Reborns was repaired or is still afloat in AD space somewhere. Deployed in AD 2312, the Reborns basically made quick work of anything standing in it's way; this includes Alle/Hallelujah in the Arios, and critically damaging the Seraphim with a single dual shot of it's cannons. Ribbons himself was ultimately defeated and killed (still no real confirmation on his death AFAIK) in the 0 Gundam, the Reborns itself as mentioned before was not and actually succeeded in defeating the seemingly unbeatable 00 Raiser.

I hated ribbons. Liked the Reborns cannon/gundam though.

Even though he's a self-righteous asshat, I adored his character and his development; he went from an associate/assistant with a master plan, to someone with borderline omnipotence who backhands and shoots women for fun. :lol:

In fact I'd say the only reason he lost (and perhaps was killed) is simply because the 0 Gundam was old tech compared to Exia RII, original GN Drive or not.
