That's nice. I personally try to watch the most complete version of any film, as I may not watch it more than once.

Not sure what EoE not being a "planned movie" is supposed to mean. It's true that they didn't plan on making EoE from the beginning, but who's to say that the stuff in EoE isn't the ending that they originally had planned for the show but simply couldn't do thanks to budget constraints?

Besides, it's not like they planned on doing two different endings... but they did it. Probably for a reason, I'm guessing. :p

It's not at all comparable to Rebuild, which is a remake of the whole entire series. EoE is a remade ending meant specifically to be the final ending of the original show.

I prefer EoE's ending just because of the profound effect it left on my mind. That and the open ending (more specifically what Asuka says) that can become something to be discussed.

I have an XBOX, though no Live yet (ran out not too long ago)! My Gamertag is MV Rei Ayanami :p.

I get what you're saying. I just think the last two episodes should be watched.

Yeah the order doesn't matter so much. I think I only watch the episodes first because I like saving the best for last. I like EoE to be at the end so when it's over I can just sit there for a few minutes and wait for my brain to finish melting lol.

I'm not going to lie.... about that ending of S;G...DONT READ THIS IF YOU HAVENT WATCHED IT!

WEAK!.... sort of..
How does Kurisu even know she was a lab member or remember stuff that happened in the Alpha Line?! No one else remembered the things that happened in the Alpha Line, even after they received their badges. Didn't like what they did there. How could they have done a better job? I don't know.

What I DO like is how they came up with a plan. I managed to figure how that he was going to reenact the stabbing of Kurisu with the saber, but it wouldn't have killed her but the saber would have gushed out the fake blood.

But then we find out the stuff dried up! A twist nicely squeezed in.... but at that point I knew that he would need to shed his own blood because no one could be be bleeding.
What I thought he was going to do was reenact the stabbing, but instead hold the knife backwards and lunge it towards kurisu knocking her out cold but shedding his own blood.... but what Okabe did in the show was a better idea (in terms of entertainment).

Still wished the ending had a stronger impact equal to that of the previous episode or something....

Yeah, the ending was a bit weak. Not bad by any means. And Kurisu remembering wasn't as much of a cop-out as Clannad AS' ending. So I'm okay with that.

Really, everybody is capable of remembering what had happened before. It was a bit unrealistic(in terms of the story) to have 'er remember right away. But I don't care, it's a happy ending that Okabe deserves(Especially after he just... ****ing... mutilated himself. WHICH WAS INTENSE. Sly mentioned a movie, I want a movie... and it must have mind rape..

Steins;Gate is awesome and the ending held up to the rest of the series, so I'm happy.

Now everybody who hasn't watched Steins;Gate, do so now.

I honestly wish NGE hurt my brain, it didn't. I did get kinda.... errgggg around the part where

EVA01 slaughtered Toji/Asuka

but that's it.
