These Anime car liveries are so cut and paste to me.... It makes me want to show these people off, but I don't have the tools to do so :grumpy:
 
some of the cosplays some pages back are really borderline... omg I love it. Some are quite a show, if you know what I mean.

So I'm watching REDLINE. Something like it took 7 years to develop this movie because it's all hand drawn.

I'm not even 10 minutes in and it's pretty nuts. It was hard to pause it. So far, it's kinda like Wacky Racer meets Initial D meets Gurren Lagann. The artwork is pretty nuts.

In related Itasha news I am getting a 360 which means I am getting Forza 4 which means I will be making/buying Itasha liveries. I AM EXCITE! This also means that since I will have my own 360 now and will have Live I need a Gamertag.

I am open to clever suggestions as to what my Gamertag will be. If nothing clever is suggested it will Sephy. If that is taken it will be Sephy71...

Well you know how in some scenes of Gurren Lagann the artwork seems way over the top? The whole movie is like that, and it's awesome.

^ When I used to drive my WRX wagon, I was so tempting of doing the same Itasha thing too!...too bad I don't know which anime theme I should put on it...until I traded the wagon for an S2K... :indiff:

Is there any relation between the form of the car with the specific placement? I don't see one... To me, it's just putting the graphic where there is room basically...

See that looks better imo... the direction of movement within the picture is travelling along with the car, including the stripes.... That's where a decent relationship exists between a graphic and body form.

It's limited, but IMO that's what will make them look like it belongs with the car rather than "just" pasting graphics on the panels...right, CanoSprite?

Vanishing Boy, your distinction between "normal" and "hardcore" seems to only involve preferences when it comes to... the ladies. I don't even know what you're going for...

And I've told you guys before, REDLINE is amazing! I'd also recommend Moyashimon, it's all about the microbes :sly:

I was just as confused myself....I sort of understand where he was going with it, but it's a bit of a biased statement. Don't really care though.

Ah, I think I see where your going. Looking at them now, the characthers do seem randomily placed and don't really flow with the paint scheme.

Oh crap, there might be a chance you won't like the Yoko LMP I made :sick:

But would you believe it, now I have an A310 in my UCD :lol: Still, saved me 26,157 Cr. :lol: Cept I've now bought it for the sake of having one stock one tuned.

I picked orders today.

Unless somehow something goes horribly awry, I'll be going to the USS Antietam which is likely gonna be shifting its homeport from San Diego to Yokosuka sometime with in the next year or so. :D

Perfect opportunity to hook up with a 14 16 year old! :sly:
