Well I finally watched Halo Legends. I'll ignore the CGI parts, because...eh.

Anyway, it was actually very enjoyable. Some little common anime ticks annoyed me, but were overcome. Namely the way anime lip-syncing is simply scale an open mouth to how loud the syllable is at that time. Or at least, that seems to be what they do.

Also, the whole thing suddenly became intensely Japanese. In the case of The Duel, this was awesome in a samurai-oriented way. In the case of The Babysitter, one little tick is that they redesigned the Forerunner ruins to look like Japanese ruins...which didn't make much sense.

All in all, the only anime I've enjoyed other than Tales of Earthsea so far.

I'll just shut up and go back to my spot in the Pony thread now.

I've have not watched much for anime, but what I have watched is more along the lines of stuff that is "manly" though not in an entirely strict sense of the word. This, however, is now my favorite thing ever.

Yeah, I know, a bit past midnite (at least for me), but I cannot let this day without a song as we start yet ANOTHER themed week.

And this week is gonna be awesome because we have the AWESOME LYRICS WEEK. Yuep, the songs for this week will all have awesome words, and as such, I'll post the lyrics to each song in here.

We'll start out with a tune that has indeed awesome lyrics, even if the music isn't to everyone's taste. Be Human, from Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex, which I feel is very underrated, because what it says is really cool.
