Sorry, I knew I ordered that in a tricksy way. I was comparing characters. Eva and Steins;Gate.

Okabe > Shinji
Kurisu > Asuka
Mayuri > Rei

Depends on what you're judging 'em on. Okabe and Kurisu are definitely more likable than Shinji and Asuka, but IMO Shinji and Asuka are deeper and more interesting characters.

Mayuri is a very uninteresting. She's cute, but that's about all she does for Steins;Gate.

Besides die repeatedly as a plot device. /yawn
 
Like Shinji and Asuka, she's not a very likable character. But likability isn't what makes a character good.

For instance, nobody here who's seen Steins;Gate likes Moeka, but she's still a damn good character.

Yeah, that's because we know the horrible truth :lol: She is a good character. Asuka's not that likeable, but she's a good character. Shinji would be a good character... if he weren't the main one.

I knew that the whole ~de geso thing for the english dub wouldn't work out. But judging from this clip I think Media Blasters did a pretty damn good job. Can't wait for the DVD to get in the mail.

It just came out today and I was wondering through Wal-Mart and went over to see if they had it in, saw it and bought it. It still has the action that the original series had with Vash up to his old tricks. Plus it introduces a sexy new character.
