Karas is from Karas.
Ibira initially pictured Karas as a horror story with a vengeance theme. It had a simple plot similar to the manga, Dororo. The protagonist karas is on a quest, slaughtering mikuras to recover the body parts of his murdered lover. Until he recovers all the parts, he assembles them into a katana to kill the mikuras.[2] The final version of Karas was more of a superhero action story,[7][8] and originally intended for three leading heroes in the same vein as the Japanese period drama, Sanbiki ga Kiru!. The characters Otoha, Nue, and the human detective Kure were the leads but the final version primarily focused on Otoha.[9] The presentation of Karas differs in several ways from typical anime. The show maintains a serious tone and never indulges in slapstick, exaggerated facial expressions, or super deformed characters.[10] It avoids heavy expositions. Dialogue tends to be short and viewers have to infer what is going on based on very little presented information.[11] The team had left out substantial amounts of information from the show, printing them in a booklet of the final DVD package.[6]

We ll now that's new. Going with resin instead of Die-cast aluminum for a scale model car. In any case, I like this product and hope to put in a order for one. :)

You have no idea how these things work. Madoka Magica for example was still airing when the first single came out, and it broke sales records. Shakugan no Shana III isn't appealing to the otaku enough. Many of these sales come from pre-orders and whatnot. Pre-orders are in much higher demand as Japan has an obsession with limited editions, and practically everything is limited edition so they pre-order to secure those things.

Anyway, watched Naruto Shippuden the Movie 2: Bonds. Surprised VIZ Media started streaming this a few days ago (It expires on Hulu/VIZAnime today.) when it comes out on DVD and BD in a few weeks, and more shockingly they streamed it dubbed.

As for the movie, they finally made a great Naruto movie. The first 3 weren't all that great, and the first Naruto Shippuden one was pretty meh and forgettable. This one they took a much different approach and managed to entertain the viewer more.
