Strong World is heavily loved (I haven't seen it, but I have nothing but really amazing things about it.), is Toei Animation serious on it surpassing it (If they aren't having Eiichiro Oda working on it like last time, I'm seriously doubting their statement.)? On MAL, Strong World beats the actual series in rankings.

Today marks the return of the Mobile Suit of the Day, and what better way to mark the return of this feature than to feature a Gundam, resultant of the scaling down of Mobile Suits in the Universal Century? Welcome the F91 (Formula 91) Gundam.

While the bastardized OVA itself is substantially inconclusive for the most part, the F91 itself was quite the capable one, only suffering the lack of it's full potential being displayed due to the movie going in every which possible direction except the one that made sense...but this isn't about the movie, it's about the titular MS - the F91. The F91 was developed from the previous efforts of the SNRI (Strategic Naval Research Institute), the F90, circa Universal Century 0111. SNRI was a product of the EFF, foregoing the monopoly Anaheim Electronics had become, and as such the SNRI was tasked with the responsibility of creating not only scaled-down (smaller and lighter) mobile suits, but scaled-down mobile suits mounted with the newest weaponry and technology for almost any battle scenario that would present itself.

After the trial tests with the F90 (and one of the units being stolen and converted to the OMS-90R), on the month of July in Universal Century 0116, the SNRI rolled out the successor to the F90, the F91. The F91, when compared to mobile suits of the past, was both much smaller and lighter; weighing in at 19.9 metric tons fully loaded, and standing 15.2 meters (49.868 ft) tall - compared to, say, 62.3 metric tons and 18.7 meters (61.351 ft) of the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam. As a result it was far more powerful, far more maneuverable, far quicker, and far more efficient. The F91 is the product of ingenuity in it's finest form; being armed with two VSBR's (Variable Speed Beam Rifle), two fire-linked mega machine cannons, two beam sabers, two vulcan guns (mounted in the head), a beam rifle, a beam launcher, and two beam shields would inevitably produce heat - here's where the ingenuity comes in - the F91 was designed with heat dissipation in mind, albeit the manner in which it dissipated heat was of pure strategic advantage. If utilized by the right pilot.

Six heat radiation fins, three in each shoulder, once enough excess heat built up the fins would automatically deploy, as would a "venting mask" for the F91 (seen here) that would allow the heat to be discharged effectively as after-images, and as we all know heat contains mass, and this strategic design feature was the helping hand that led to Seabook Arno, the F91's Newtype pilot, defeating the Rafflessia with near ease.
