I fail to see why $19 is not worth it when $370 is. OOOOOOOO the HD is 540p, not worth it!

I never said it wasn't worth it at all. I said "It's not really worth it.". It may be not be a good upscale, but the quality is still a little better than the DVD's. It would be well worth it more if it used the original Japanese masters from the superior Japanese BD box which sold out a few years ago.

Why am I wanting to pay $370 for Fate/Zero again? This may be the only physical release the show will ever get here. As I've stated before, Garden of Sinners which was $400 for 8 movies sold out before its release date, and hasn't been available for a physical release here since. I'm not going to take that chance with Fate/Zero.

Not to mention, I like Fate/Zero enough to pay that much for a very nice release, and another $370 for the second release when that comes out in the Fall. It's also called supporting what you love. I love anime, so I'll buy the shows I want, and if an R1 release doesn't exist for a show I like enough to buy it, I'll import it (While I do consider R2 releases overpriced, it doesn't mean I won't pay the price whatsoever.).

I know, but you still go "You're going to waste away $370 on an overpriced box set instead of buying shows you like more for cheap.". Do I have to get the import crowd on your ass? There are importers who laugh at those who buy R1 releases.

You know what? I don't give a 🤬. I was merely pointing how absurd the "not really worth it" statement was, not trying to get into a lengthy debate about what you and your elitist importing friends spend money on.

It's not really worth it due to the upscale being at 540P. The DVD's when put in a PlayStation 3 will look about just as good, or even better. The Japanese BD box though will look way better than that as that has an actual HD master for it.

I care about the quality of a release. The Dragon Ball Z Orange Brick Season Sets for example show a lack of quality when you point out all the things wrong with those.
 
Depends on how many copies Spice & Wolf II sold for each volume. If it sold under 3,000 copies per volume, they lost money. If it sold more than 3,000 copies per volume, then they made a profit, but not enough for a season 3. If they sold like 6,000 or more copies per volume, then they earned well more than enough to make a season 3. I don't know the sales statistics. All I have to go off of for sales is this.

I have been, but it's not most people's style here it seems so there's never any conversation about it. Plus it's a lot easier to talk about 13-26 episode animes, whereas Gintama is what, up to 243 now. If you take another look at my avy, you'll see Shinpachi on the left there.

It gets a little tedious sometimes after a while, there are only so many permutations on poop and sex jokes, but overall it remains brilliant.
 
Isn't Gintama not full of fillers like Bleach and Naruto/Naruto Shippuden? One Piece has less than 30 filler episodes IIRC.
 
It is, but at least it uses comedy as the filling.

I remember the treadmill death trap screen and that was jokes.
 
No, Gintama is the Seinfeld of anime. No story, all fillers. And also both very self-referential, full of mundane humor.

Too bad it looks like it didn't sell well for Sentai Filmworks despite all that. This was the last release they put out.:(It came out nearly a year ago.

I hope they don't make Maaya say Ka ka~ twice an episode; it's totally going to kill its special values. The way it was used in the last episode reminds us that she has a light-hearted side to her underneath all that seriousness.
