YAAAAAAAYYYYY, Mirai Nikki is out :D


Stayed up for a while to watch it, but it was worth it.
The whole Yuki love letter thing was SO unnecessary, I'm a bit upset at how ridiculous it was. But insight into Yuno's mentality is appreciated. And the whole with her parents was 👍 it's nice to see what drove her crazy.

I find it a bit unbelievable that Yuki would forgive his father so easily, although he DOES try to regain normality often. So I can forgive that.

Ding dong, daddy's dead, adrenaline rush combined with awesome diary reading, Yuki gets freaky with a knife! That was awesome, I enjoyed it(even though the enemies were like dummies LOL). Oh, he cries again. Oh well, I guess I'm used to the tears by now, but I still think he's going to improve, especially now that he has a reason to be god.

Listening to "Brothers" from the FMA soundtrack(original), this should have totally been in Brotherhood(bit ironic that it wasn't, eh?). Very well composed, I can almost feel a tear in my eye as it plays.

That's how the show is(aside from random "filler" episodes, which are hilarious). It's still really good and it won't bother you after a while.
 
Watching Clannad makes me feel like I'm on drugs. Not sure which ones, given what is going on, but certainly something.

EDIT: P4 can do better when the scenes aren't all the same... it's nice to have that emotional moment after each battle though, I guess that's what made each episode... different.

Woo for taking the bait. However, FLCL still wins the spot as my favorite anime. I mean, besides some of the lesser known but well done stuff like what's on the Neo-Tokyo anthology, among other things. I might have favorite stuff but I don't really get into trying to pin "best" or "greatest" labels onto things. It's useless to try to judge when it's impossible to have every perspective.

The silly stalling in the beginning was... not quite necessary. It's cool that they reveal the origins of her insanity, but I think it would have been more cool if it was left a mystery unless we needed to know it for something to happen later which I doubt.

Did anyone else's subs say "What's with that wascally wabbit?" I lol'd hard. The love letter thing was kind of dumb. Seeing what made Yuno go crazy and how she killed her parents was nice, though they had the right idea by keeping her in a cage lol. Yuki forgiving his dad so easily was stupid. This show manages to pull off good and bad so easily.

I don't remember the last time I saw a show with so much wasted potential. This thing could be great but instead it's so weak and unconvincing. I guess that's why the show doesn't even bother taking itself seriously, and dish out so many ridiculous scenes.

I liked Yuno better when she was just a crazy bitch. I mean, abusive parents? Who hasn't seen this a million times before? Just let her be crazy for no apparent reason, that is still better than that. For all it's worth the explanation was so unconvincing I still think she had some crazy tendencies to begin with, and her parents abusiveness was just the trigger.

And what the hell, Yukki is the most understanding person I've ever seen. His father just killed his mother and just like that he forgives him? Not to mention his father's repentance for no apparent reason whatsoever.
I swear they must be trying to screw this thing up on purpose. I just can't wrap my head around how miserably they fail with character development.

"Couldn't care less" > "Could care less" if you're talking about caring so little. "Could care less" implies an ability to actually care less than the pitifully low amount that you care for something. For example, I couldn't care less if Tite Kubo's name ended up in a death note. However, I could care less if Yoshiyuki Sadamoto's name ended up in a death note - mainly because I'd be so pissed off that he died before finishing the Eva manga.

It's actually so debatable, a famous British comedian actually went on a whole 3 minute rant about it:
