Still amusing though. :lol:

NASCAR's garbage, but the karting's damn fun... even if the single-player events with it are limited to a paltry number Special Events. And another thing that, although just a Special Event, I personally found damn fun was the AMG challenge stuff. Driving fast on the Nurburgring while navigating around slower traffic is some of the most fun driving I've enjoyed in a videogame to date.

Also, did you not notice the whole dynamic weather and time-of-day thing? Sure, it's unfortunate that it's limited to a handful of tracks, but it's quite awesome on the tracks that do have 'em. And the most important track (Nurburgring) has both, and is truly spectacular.

Gran Turismo 6 needs to have both dynamic weather AND time-of-day for all tracks. Not just one or the other for certain tracks, with only a couple having both. Dirt tracks would be a blast with dynamic weather... starts off nice and dry, but then rain hits and things get super muddy. :3

I just noticed how visually unappealing the proportions are drawn in that Kanade/Suby pic.

The hair and eyes are great, everything else needs work. That should be what I should strive to work on at the moment.

Kinnikuman had good comic relief. I think I watched it after The Simpsons or something when it was airing here in the Philippines edition of Cartoon Network. Good times, good times.

In other news, I got my homework done. Also ordered some stuff for my camera: a 50mm prime lens, UV filter and polarizer for the 50, lens hood for the 50, another camera bag, a tripod, some macro tubes, and a diffuser for my flash. And finally was able to reserve a hotel room for Animazement. The two main hotels are already booked. Had to book one that is almost a mile away but that's cool. It was pretty cheap.

I'd watch it again, if I felt like I had the time. Good show, just remember to distance yourself or you'll start thinking in chess motifs.

My friend and I were discussing how that scene in Another ep 6 was a huge lost opportunity in general

Then we got into the discussion about how Kouichi can just go around banging the chicks in his class since they can't do ish to him in or out of class. Then I renamed Another to "Wasted Opportunities : The Anime". They need to make a hentai out of this scenario lol.

So I'm sampling this Bakemo CD Album right now....

like any soundtrack I get my hands on, it's an enjoyable listen. I rate all my acquired albums at least an 8/10. :p

edit: Scratch that, 9/10. I don't even know how to properly rate a soundtrack disc. Someone show me how to do it.

edjt: So far I've heard 2 of the 20 songs on the BRS OST list.... Didn't like either one..but I'll rate the album a 8/10 anyway.

edjt: Ok for real this time; In the BRS OST, there is 2 discs, one containing BGM for the OVA and a disc 2 that has a small handful of Remixes of some of the tracks on disc 1. Disc 2 is what you should get a hold of.

edjt: Aw yeeeah, Hisou's got a sexy R&B beat.

Which is a re-invention of Mission 13 (14, 15?) from GT4 with the SLR. Which, for whatever is harder in the NA version than the JP version. I should know... I have both. :grumpy:

Yeah, GTR2 has weather and dynamic time on all tracks and that came out in 2006. Granted, it's a PC title but so what? Had they spent more time actually utilizing, or rather, allocating their resources properly there wouldn't frame stuttering, tearing, or the tremendous network lag in every goddamn part of the game because for whatever reason the person in charge of network connectivity thought it'd be a good idea if the entire game infrastructure depends on the internet. You'd swear by all the glaring mistakes and the things they break with every single patch that GT 1-4 was developed by another company.

It's ridiculous.
