Finally tore myself away from GT5, I'll watch a couple ep's of Bakemonogatari, then head back.
I miss my laptop, so I can do both, but scary pregnant woman is scary (mom).

These Busou Chuugakusei: Basket Army episodes only coming out once a month is BS. Especially since they're only like 4 minutes each...
 
Ok watched ep 1 of Bakemonogatari, quite good. I love the art style. The show is quirky, but engaging and addicting. I love it and will keep watching.
I like how they reveal stuff slowly.

Ah Blood-C, the biggest troll of an anime in 2011. It has a very laughable MAL rank of 3,904, and a mean score of 6.55, despite ranking in the 500's for popularity. I'm surprised the Japanese government is helping fund the movie.

It was pretty good up until we get around episode 10 where they trolled an entire fanbase way, way, way harder than Tite Kubo could ever hope to troll. That trolling made him proud.

If you thought you knew a lot before episode 10, episode 10 later made you realize you knew nothing. If it weren't for the trolling, it could have kept that 8/10 from me, but nope, a 7/10 that is close to being a 6/10. Such a waste of potential. Why CLAMP and Production I.G., WHY?!

Finally Shu starts to gain some control over his Shadow (Blue Dragon). Let's see how things go later on.

Also, Bouquet is nuts. She still doesn't get she was fired from the restaurant due to walking out on the job, and fooling around the entire day trying to show her appreciation for Shu's group?:rolleyes:
Also decided to give the English opening a listen just now, and man, it's been quite some time since I listened to the English opening back from when VIZ Media did an edited dub (Which they never finished IIRC.) years back. Not as good as the Japanese one though.

I'm bored and out of stuff to watch, so I gave Toaru Majutsu no Index another try, but it's not really working for me. Too shounenish and the story isn't really capturing my interest.

Nah, they can just give us a bunch of nonsense like they did in episodes 10-12. I don't have high hopes for the movie. It'll either be decent or just good for me probably.

The improved character development (Episode 18 started to help with this, and 19 improved upon it.), more backstory, plot twists making more sense instead of being nonsensical, it becoming more enjoyable...it's kinda hard for me to explain and go in-depth on this.

The character development is the biggie here.

What character development? Aside from Shu (and even at best, that's negligible) no one has developed any further because everyone is practically established.
