I guess they have a 22HD now too. The problem with the 21 and 22 is that the stand kind of sucks if you want to adjust it frequently. The 24 is much nicer in that regard.

Latest episode of Medaka Box Abnormal: Oh look, more and more fighting, oh joy. We got nothing but fighting here.

The story, where the hell is it? The character development, where the hell is it?

The only good thing about this arc is the backstory (Which BTW isn't handled very well) they give on the villains, and main characters. Sigh, this is Medaka Box at its worst...

I'm not into bunny outfits, but....

Charlotte, ugh...

Seriously why is she so gawdamn popular?

Kill me, looks like a Deus Ex Machina, and what the show has been doing all along, using purely nostalgia to tell a story.

I was in a GameStop today, and I spotted a 2nd-hand copy of NGE: Death And Rebirth for €3.99. I didn't think it was worth buying it, it's just compressed highlights of the TV show and the first half of EoE.

...kay. And?

...kay. And?

I was surprised to see Kaworu Nagisa's face poking out amongst a bunch of action movies from the 90s/early 00s.

Not that he has a face any more, MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA. :trouble:

Nana 23-30: This show is now officially better than Chihayafuru, holy 🤬. I don't love it as much as Chihayafuru (Slow part here, kinda boring part there), but man is it better. It's what Chihayafuru would have been like if it focused WAY more on the romance, and hardly on Karuta. Not to say I don't like what they did with Chihayafuru, it worked really well, Nana just does things better (In the case of Nana, it's music they don't focus a whole lot on).

I almost shed tears at a few of these episodes, gawdammit. Why does Madhouse and Shojo go together so well?

If you love romance, you really need to get on Nana.

Now the actual episodes, a few highlights:
Nana (Brown hair) finally breaks up with asshole Takumi, the womanizer, and gets together with Nobu. Such a cute couple, I LOVE it!

Nana (Black hair) is now starting to face the realities of going pro.

Reira is still involved in prostitution with Shinichi. I must say I feel bad about Reira at times.
Wishful thinking: Black Bird gets an anime from Madhouse. That would be so awesome.

I am shocked, for once a MAL episode discuss thread where everybody basically doesn't like the episode. When even these people hate a show, you know it's total 🤬.

I hope FUNi simulcasts those final two episodes as soon as possible so I can finally be rid of that 🤬. E7 AO is such a massive failure of a show it's not even funny. I hate this show exponentially more than Cano hates Rurouni Kenshin and Trigun combined, yes that much.

Nana 31-34
Gawdammit, the world is ending!

-Nana K is now going to marry Takumi as she will raise her child as Takumi's kid and will dump Nobu as a result.
-Nana K is going to move out of the apartment, and now Nana O is having a nervous breakdown (She went to Ren's place half-asleep, and can't remember why she's there). The two strawberry cups are now in pieces.
-Reira is now having a nervous breakdown as a result of Nana K and Takumi getting married.
This show has now surpassed even Clannad After Story in quality. Gawdamn you drama!

It's just unbelievable how much the quality improved from before the 20's. 🤬 truly gets real around that point, especially the late 20's.

Eureka Seven AO now has a mean score of 7.43 on MAL, when it was at 7.56 yesterday, and 7.49 a few hours ago. Wow, I've never seen a show go down that much in ranking.

At its peak, it was 7.83.

My word of advice with E7 AO: Stay away from Eureka Seven AO at all costs, pretend it doesn't exist
apparently the ending makes the entire show not exist
and move on. It's just that unbelievably bad (If you don't find me credible on this, you definitely will and regret not taking my advice if you end up having the misfortune of watching it), and it cannot be even a guilty pleasure, it just can't.

Just found out about an anime called Love Live! School Idol Project, and it looks pretty interesting. Sure, it'll be another idol anime, but it looks like it'll be different enough from Idolm@ster to not be considered an exact clone.

Well I haven't watched it yet. Last episode was pretty enjoyable. Yeah, he is invincible though.

And no reports about SAO ep.20..
All you need to know about that episode:

More plotholes, more making Leafa useless, yeah...

If Loli was caught-up and here right now, he'd go much more in-depth than me. He's much better at bashing the show than anyone else here. I don't care enough to really do it now, 🤬 this show.

Also, SAO humor.
Kirito’s amazing rescue masterplan:
“I will go save Asuna without making any preparations, such as buying better equipment. In the middle of the journey I will side track to go get myself more harem girls. If I ever need to fight someone very powerful, I will just steal some random sword instead of buying one from the city with the endless money I have. I will then beat the opponent with my special skill nobody else can use, without fear of any player or game master realizing I am obviously cheating all the time. And after I had fun playing this game and seducing all the female players, Asuna will save herself and will make me a sandwich.”

I'm going to have to bunch Eureka 7 AO with Star Driver..and that makes me sad :(

Both animes were fantastic from the beginning to the last minute. Then the simplest lamest ending ever happens.

But E7 AO was 🤬 from beginning to end.

Magi 8:

They're still rushing through things...

The characters are so good, yet the story suffers so much mainly from them rushing things, and as I hear from one of my online friends who's a big fan of the manga, they're poorly adapting the material. This is like Black Cat all over again. A-1, are you trying to be like Gonzo now when it comes to adaptions? First Sword Art Online, now this, ugh...

This is how you know JC hasn't watched an episode of Robotic;Notes.

There's no arrogance in that at all actually.

Nope. Haven't watch Steins gate either, or will care to. The pose with the glasses man.
