I'm actually watching Idolm@ster: Xenoglossia now too, but it is only because it is Idolm@ster and because it is on one of Time Warner's On Demand channels. I don't want you guys to think I actually like mecha anime now though. I still can't stand the genre. This one time is just an exception.

Currently Watching -> Vampire Bund ep.9, planning to finish this series once and for all before Netflix deletes the series (like Eden of the East TV).

yea its for a otaku club. i need a winter/christmas setting for the first episode. And has to be PG 13. since there are kids there at ages from 11-20.

@otaku kid: Zombie desu was pretty funny yet akward at the same time. havent checked out sea 2 since i was in the dark from Sandy.
Winter Sonata ( Korean/Japanese)

It's not quite that bad but i do agree with what you've all said about it.
I cant believe a friend of mine really likes it as ive been kinda peeking over his shoulder when he watches it so ive seen atleast half of everything up to the current ep.

Just Watched -> Moyashimon 2nd season ep.1, this series get highly technical now! lol

~> Off to church! :sly:

EDIT -> Re-watching Rayearth ep.1, Umi is as hot as I remembered back in High School!

I totally, absolutely missed this. But this leads me to an interesting experiment. I know you're not near as crabby as I am with anime, but after rewatching it, I am convinced that Rayearth is way more than nostalgia -for me- and is actually a decent show even by todays standards, of course with its requisite 1994-ridiculous stuff thrown in for good measure. So pleeeease chronicle your rewatch to me and tell me if you do really think that Rayearth can actually defend itself after all these years, or I'm just an absolutely uncurable fanboy.

It is a light novel, I was finding the SAO light novels and some PG-rated Vocaloid light novels. The image is a random picture from the site.

^ Even if I can recall my viewership back in High School, not following the series consistantly (too busy w/ Saber Marionette J, Peter Pan no Boken, & Trapp Family Singers) and in Tagalog dub. I would rate Rayearth very highly despite my shortcomings.

-> Back then, the quality was top notch, the storyline was linear, and character development was a little fast compared to Sailor Moon. Overall Rayearth is one of Clamp's underrated series. But that is me. ;)

Clamp is god when it comes to anime. Never forget.

On a side note. I am very close to passing out. I just watched ALL of Haruhi in one day. A little past 4 am here, and I am watching the credits to disappearance. Such a good show. Overall, 9.25/10 Wow, just wow.

Yup, I do agree and have said so, that for it's time Rayearth was a freaking superproduction. But today, almost 20 years hence, has it aged well after what this industry has accomplished? That's why I want your chronicle (and Hei's when he finally gets to it).

As the utmost Rayearth fanboy in here I am really interested in what other people think about it. I also agree that it is way underrated and when I recently rewatched it I found it surprisingly good, even if I was expecting total disappointment. Let me know what you find.

I'm done with Haruhi, so Rayearth will be next. Might marathon it too, but isn't over 100 Eps?

It's 49. If I remember correctly, there are 20 episodes in the first season and 29 in the second, plust the three absolutely weird OVAs.

You can take the three OVAs as a movie, lol. But they have NOTHING to do with the TV show. Heck the girls barely look the same.

It's Asuka's birthday. Happy birthday, Asuka! <3
