I was talking about Senjougahara, but Shinobu is pretty good too. I like your taste in 2D women.
I like Senjo too with her witty personality.

I think Hachikuji's more wittier than Senjougahara. The latter IIRC makes more snarky remarks... then again, she, Hachikuji and Shinobu make the most snarky remarks out of the 7 heroines.

Hachikuji is the best Monogatari character. All of her lines are incredibly witty, and she never fails to make me laugh.

Hachikuji has the most wonderful seiyuu. Emiri Katou really is a peach.

Yotsugi Ononoki is best Monogatari character.

Too scary.
Also she ruins EVERYTHING (take that with a pinch of salt)

Naturally, the best monogatari is Tsubasa Hanekawa. Not her cat form, obviously; just her actual normal self.

Wut.

Can you just imagine stroking her under the chin? Actual cats love that, imagine how she'd feel? :3

Cat girls don't turn me on. Pictures of them I like are few and far between. There's only one I've seen recently I actually like, and they aren't canon, just the artist sticking them on for the hell of it.
Besides, Hanekawa looks beautiful normally. Her cat form doesn't.

Actual cats are just that much cooler.

Ahhh, I've seen a few of those dotted around. Hell, I'll just buy her discography.

It's settled, Anime Guardswomen is best girl.

She'll die a horrific and bloody death in like, two minutes dude. Let her have her moment, standing next to...whatever tank that's supposed to be.

I think that's a bad attempt at weathering. The fact the tank is so stunted and doesn't look like any tank from the canon is what's annoying me, personally. xD

Finished Mirai Nikki. I gotta say, that was one crazy ride. I can see why Yuno is one of the top yandere - she's utterly insane.

[Spoilers] The ending felt a bit like Guilty Crown's ending. As a matter of fact, when I think about it the relationship between Yuno/Yukiteru and Inori/Shu are pretty similar. The girl dies, and the guy lives on mourning their lover's death. Yukiteru lives on as a God for 10,000 years (man, that's a long time), and he still cannot forget about Yuno. I guess living in a realm where you only have a weird chibi-like creature with you for 10k years isn't very refreshing. Then... at the very end I get a screen that says Yuno's coming to see Yukiteru. That's where the OVA comes in, which according to MAL came out a year after. I anticipated it to be a happier alternative of the ending, and I was right.

I still wonder about Deus and his interaction with the Eleventh. Why choose a crazy guy like him to organize the game? Is it because he's a mayor? Deus and Mur Mur are both mysteries too. Deus is a God obviously, but there isn't much to it than that. I always wondered why Deus was decaying even though he's a God. Mur Mur is even more mysterious in her origin. I guess she would be there in order to help attain a successor. But even that's pretty far-fetched.

The Future Diary owners aren't too memorable as rivals. They do take on pretty interesting personalities & aspirations but really the only memorable one is Minene. She actually "follows" Yukiteru around until the very end. She's just a bit more involved. Probably the Eleventh would be the next significant owner since he basically made how the game functions. The owners with the Exchange Diaries were pretty important too in that they kinda helped the love between Yuno and Yukiteru (indirectly).

Akise is a huge side character. He investigated the various incidents, and tried to push Yukiteru to new points of view. When I found out he was fabricated by Deus, I was surprised. But it made sense since his origins aren't as concrete as Yukiteru's friends. Speaking of his friends, the rest of them were so-and-so.

The last few episodes came out of nowhere. The way the show went was nowhere near how I predicted. Who would have thought there will be time travel involved? And two Yuno's? Crazy stuff. I think it was pretty obvious Yukiteru will fall for Yuno though.

The fighting wasn't as epic as I expected. They were definitely tense and critical but most of the time it's Yuno who glorifies the combat. You can't expect any less from a yandere so I saw plenty of chopping and murdering and killing from her. The fight between Mur Mur and Minene towards the end was pretty awesome though.

Honestly I prefer the OVA ending. I'm a sucker for happy endings

[End of spoilers]

I could say a lot more, but I'll just leave it at that.

I been watching manga/anime from the Early 90's as with probably 50% of you who starting watching japanimation in the west around this time it all started with Akira it was being shown on channel 4 at 1am in the morning will always remember the moement exactly its like the first time you watched Star Wars. As in them days I was still in junior school and there was no Internet and I never knew what a manga was, about a year later I started high school there was a video store on my way to my new school it had a arcade machine inside so obviously a massive sf2 fan I went inside hoping it be SF2 it wasn't but I noticed the artwork straight away its AKIRA .. Anyways cut long story short I got akira and watched it to death ,then I knew what and who made thease films so back to the video store this time I got Fist of the North Star ..blown away I loved it.My mother noticed my intrest and bought me a shed load of mangas not knowing what they were if I am honest (I wasn't a spoilt kid just my mother could afford it)

The thing is I don't know anyone else who enjoyed manga's so its been like my own dirty little secret but if I am honest I have always conflicted intrest wise with my mates they like football I like Motorsport, they like booze I like a puff.

So in effect I have never had anyone to talk about thease type of films/series and i have had so may stored questions like is there a diffrence beetween anime/manga. And am I the only one who thinks all thease panty and fan shots are on the pervy side considering how young some of them are ment to be..

Get to it, man.

Yeah, you're not alone. I'm not sure if it's relevant, but CNN actually did a take on this regarding explicit content in Japan.

On one hand, I can fully understand the wish to remove it. On the other, you just linked to CNN, so I can't take the article as fact. I don't engage in that sort of thing, cos well, I ain't touching it with a barge pole. However, it's been debated back-and-forth about whether it does promote...things, and neither side really seems to be able to negate the other's evidence.

It seems very much like our violence in the media that Western society constantly grapples with. Despite repeated attempts - from outlets like CNN - to claim video games are a direct correlation to violence because this one gunman played Call of Duty is just stupid to us, isn't it? That's like blaming chocolate if you're looking at the numbers of people who play games pretty regularly that include violence. I for one have grown up constantly entrenched in a culture of violent media, yet as a society we're far more accepting of a decapitation on screen than an exposed nipple.

Again, not condoning it, just noting that our viewpoint isn't the most perfectly balanced viewpoint. Let's face it, our own society has a fixation on young women - i.e., 18 - and the constant sexualisation of such. Given that, historically, our own society considered 14 to be an acceptable age back when living that long was a minor achievement, it's an interesting sociological question to ask.

Jeez, I overdid the writing and the words and the things here, didn't I?
