Yes, however it came as a shock. We hadn't talked for over two years. I was traveling and I couldn't really talk to him. I come back home abd everything's changed.

Things not turning out with the first girl of the pair with the same first name... She's claiming she's busy. But the second girl of the pair (the better looking one who has less in common) is about to graduate and move home... :)

I suppose we will see how it happens...

Things aren't going too well for me either. I was literally minutes away from asking my crush if she wanted to hang out, but she said that she was moving this coming weekend before I asked. My whole world got turned upside down.
She's moving next door?

I really am hurt. It'll be very tough for me to move on.

She's moving an hour away.

EDIT: Didn't notice the double post. Sorry.

So why is it every girl I have talked to recently say Im a nice person and all but there all girls who already have boyfriends? And they say i will find a girl if only it was that simple :(.

So the girl that i used to like (which i already moved on) suddenly asked me for help taking care of her pet turtle for a few days since she is going somewhere. I thought why the hell not since i wanted to help and ive got nothing to do (college doesnt start for a few weeks) when i told my friends about this they started saying that i shouldnt help her and that she might be using me. I thought of that but just brush it off since i want to help because i want to. But could it be possible that she is just using me ? We havent talk for a while and she suddenly ask for my help.

Well this is starting to sound like she does using me, even though i just want to help a friend. Im afraid that im actually on denial even though i dont feel it at all. This is stupid, GAHH !

She did bought me presents for taking care of her pet so there's that.

Literally just after I posted my other thread (about 6 weeks ago), I met an awesome girl at a mates party/pub gathering. We have got on really well and are now (have been for a couple of weeks) bf and gf :). Makes most of what I said in the previous thread irrelevant. My gf is so nice, funny and lighthearted, and loves her cuddles aswell.

Sadly though she is a year bellow me in education, so whilst I'm leaving for uni in Sept/Oct she will be still at home :( . We are gonna try a long distance relationship, lets just hope it works out.

@lbsf1, it depends on how far you'll study. Supposing you both live in the same area you can still come home every other weekend and be with her like for a day or so. You catch a bus on friday to your hometown and be with her saturday and then leave for uni on sunday. With that you kill three birds with one stone. Be with your parents, friends and GF. Of course it all depends on what I said in the first sentence

I mean, it's Britain, though... And I don't think the northern tip of Scotland has any well known universities.... So, I'm guessing it's not too long distance at all. England is about the size of my hometown's county, for a bit of perspective.

I mean, more than 300 miles by bus takes half-day (about 5 hours), it becomes a bit pointless to waste somuch time for two days.

Try 1500 miles, then.

All I'm saying is "look on the bright side, Luke, you've got a girlfriend already, which is already a head start on those of us who haven't, and your country is small so it's not that bad..."

For reference, my grandparents live about 3 hours north of me, and we go there for one-day visits. 6 hours in one day in a car...

@GTboyz : Just seem that she kept the connection, if she starts talking to you more; she could be using you for more things. Its nice that you did those things but carry on and continue what you were doing.

Side note: If you get played easily, do not become a mechanic... "hey, sooooo you're a mechanic, right?" *few days later* "my car's making this odd ticking noise..." No, you won't do her valves for free. You'll do one valve, and not necessarily in her car. :sly:

You mean she just want to keep in touch with me ?
She did explained that the reason she asked me is because the pet store was closed, but i forgot to ask her about her other friends who lived near her and who isnt busy too.

Man i would hate getting those feelings back again
