Spoken like a teenager. Been there. Started dating a new girl 9 minutes after the other broke up with me.

Edit: by the way, lads, jealousy will cause even the best looking women to want you. A girl who was previously out of your leagues might see you with another girl and realize that they want you.

Wary is a good thing; she might be a great girl going through a rough patch, or a basket case, or she might be serious.

I'm banking on the first two, but the third one scares me. I don't want to see anyone go through that; you can try to be there for her but you might not be able to save her....
That's what I'm thinking at the moment. If I am there, she'll realise that I'm here. And she like is a really great girl, and she's normally really happy and bubbly, but sometimes she just gets down, and I want to be there to help her back up to her wonderful self

Spot the teenager: done

I've been there. I've found several (3-5) girls with whom I would've been happy to spend my life.

They then proceed to either screw up their lives, date someone else in their own field of profession, or otherwise just move away to Australia.

If I know anything about her it's that she's looking for someone that's going to be faithful and not screw her over. Like I've said before, she's loyal to who she's with and will go to great lengths to make things work. This is why I had a hard time with her before because she was with the asshole, and she was stupid for sticking around but she was scared of him and wanted to make it work. I know what she wants out of life, and it's not much. We both want the same thing.

Edit: @Slash, you know she digs the Mustang IIs, then?

She's not really into cars. She is a little I guess. I've asked her to come with me at the strip once in a while. She said it's not something she would normally do but says it's cool. So whatever that means

Apparently French Canadians are hot so we've obviously picked the better parts of the world  @ITCC_Andrew
Ummm, yes. The one I like is French Canadian. She just happens to live in anEnglish area, and not speak French. :guilty: ambitions, however, she has; she wants to learn

It means (from my perspective) that you're making a mistake, but only because my interest is as much a car girl as I am a car guy.

It also means she only wants to go to the strip because she likes you; not the cars.

I don't really care if she's into cars or not, that's not a big deal to me. We have other interests that we share that I value much more.

You think so?

Well she hasn't gone yet due to other priorities, and Wednesday is a bad night anyways because it's the middle of the week she's most busy.

I'm just happy she surprised me by stopping over last weekend. I really needed that.

Woohoooo?

Keep building that trust... Start working in hugs etc.

Eventually. It's too early for anything like that yet. I don't see her enough.

A year at college wasn't even enough to get me a date. 19.5 consecutive dateless years, that means I'm winning, right? But on the flip side I have good grades, so I have that going for me, which is nice.

Even though i feel that i have moved on, there are still some instance when everytime her picture pop up on facebook or instagram, i'd get a bit uneasy, like i still have a bit of feelings for her. Is that normal ?

Btw its a girl i used to really love, not an ex gf though.

She seemed like she had a vague interest in it, but she doesn't type a ton when she texts usually. She's like that with everyone usually.

Seeing as her step dad has a couple old Porsches in the garage I would think there's something there but who knows. I'm not worried about that so much as I am of her actually going with me. That hasn't happened yet.

That's being a girl as well. There's good reason why men make jokes about the way women text to them.

Some girls are just difficult to read, like my ex.
She is very difficult.

Thank god haha. I mean my mom said the same thing, and this girl is not like that at all in person but she is usually kind short with me. Once in a while she will send me something long though.

I just wish she would text me first sometimes. She's not one to talk to anyone unless they talk to her, usually anyways.

I haven't been; I have been going easy in her lately. She's not ready to jump into anything yet though. It's going to take a lot of chipping away at her.
