Maybe if its me, I don't like short relationships. Probably dem feels. At least your teacher hasn't tested your program, look at the code and say do it over again.
 
The feels just come and go for me, they never do remain.
It's not the programming that's difficult or anything he's just as engaging as watching a football game, but that's a whole different line of discussion. :')
 
My teacher would come to my computer, look at the code or mash on the keyboard. He had dry repetitive jokes about programmers. I thought they were funny ( he states that they are dry and repetitive during the semester.)
 
I currently like this girl, but it seems that she doesn't like me. We have some things in common but only time will tell. /hopeful but I have other things to worry bout.
 
She really doesn't chat with me. I post pictures and she liked several of my status' but it could be a time thing. She could be shy also.
 
See you've gotta be more engaging than that. They're very typical questions, can be considered boring topics, it's difficult to explain but your topics have to be unexpected, randomly crack some out of nowhere jokes.
It's how I start talking to girls now, randomly crack an owl pun which leads to talking about owls, then I mention the Pokemon Hoot Hoot. Stuff like that.
Girls notice individuality, if you're more unexpected to talk to they'll be more inclined to talk to you. :) So go out there, make some terrible puns, bring up some random stuff. If after that they still have little response then either they're shy or not worth your time. From my experience it's nearly always the latter.

Yeah, Callum got it. You have to show real interest apart from the occasional 'how was your day' they probably get from many other people. It may sound weird but to me shallow conversation starters are just cringe worthy. Ex: Girl asks me about my day, I continue to tell her about it, and then there is nothing else to really talk about unless you drag on the conversation and when it stops it stops for good.
 
I will try it out. Usually I am at work and not really off with friends. If I am, I am doing something with them or the girls have their attention on other guys.
 
That's kinda how it was with the one girl I went after for a long time. She would talk to me, but 95% of the time it was only if I approached.

Well... after a more careful examination, I decided not to pursue the girl I asked out the other day...

She seems to be a complete b:censored: ... and I don't need one of those in my life :lol:

Well it's been over a year and a half now and we've had several "breaks" (we've been in an on and off relationship), but the GF and I have finally sorted all our differences out and we're looking at moving in together within the next few months, which will hopefully bring us even further together emotionally. We're both incredibly keen to move out of our respective homes; she doesn't like living with her family all that much and I'm feeling like I'm not taking enough responsibility with my life and with my young years running out quite quickly it's probably best I did something about it.

Plus, it's been two Christmas' in a row now that I haven't spent with her because she lives about 30km away and her father isn't incredibly keen on me being with her. Next year, I tell you :)

Maybe. She said once she needed some time to get over his last boyfriend to start something new... (BTW, she constantly mentions him for no reason.)

Thing is, she said that LAST YEAR... and I can't believe she can't just forget about him... (said once he hurt her a lot, that's why I can't explain myself why she keeps talking about him...)... ONE YEAR IS A LOT OF TIME...

She want's me to be more passionate, but I can't be passionate via text or call, I NEED TO SEE HER, and despite she knows that, and despite I've said that to her many times, she just keeps hidding behind her job &/or illness...

Tell me if that makes some 🤬 sense...

Either way, I'm going to see this other girl on Saturday (finally), soo... let's see what happens... hopefully she isn't a crazy one like this one...
 
One year is a lot of time...well I've been going on about the same girl for 7 years. I still can't get over her.



For you, it might not be meant to be, but she dropped you a hint by telling you to keep trying. She might be scared to open up. If she really did say he hurt her a lot, while she may not expect that from you, she could very well be afraid of that happening again. It's really not an easy thing to overcome.

I have faith in you. Just let it play out. If it's mean to be, it will happen. I tell myself that all the time, though I fear I try too hard looking for the perfect girl.

Point is, that's been the game for the last year or so (Yes-No, Yes-No)... Guess I can press the "continue" button once again if she really means it...

Yep, she had a point when she said I play my cards way too safe, but it's impossible to play a game for two when we hardly see each other...

Bottom line: If she really wants me to try (and since I'm crazy enough to go and try it again), she'll have to say yes to my next invitation to go out with me...

But for now, Saturday. Saturday is the day I'm looking forward to now. If she could go out with some jerks during the course of this year... I think it's fair for me to go and have some healthy fun with another lady...

It's not like I'm cheating after all... It's just that 3 years have taken its toll... and I'm 24... how many years I'm supposed to wait for something to happen between me and her... if she is really the one???

You don't have to wait. You choose to wait. Why? Well, only you can really answer that, I'm just here to give you some advice. Perhaps there is something you aren't acknowledging...like maybe your true feelings. Think about it. You've been playing this game for how long? Yet, you still go back. You say/she says play your game safe, and that's ok, but are you really playing it safe by still going back to her? How is that a safe move? A safe move would to leave her and move on, avoiding any possible heartache.

Go out, go have fun, but make sure no one finds out, and word gets back to her, even if you aren't actually dating her. Any mention and your chances go down the pooper.

Trust me, if she gets with you, and it plays out like I think it will, you'll be well off. Women like to play these games.
 
When I said "Playing it safe" she meant I was very very respectful with her... not very warm or affectionate... and well, no, I'm not a touchy guy... Yeah, I tell her she's pretty and stuff, but the physical stuff... no... not much...

Why? Again... I can't hug her or touch her or play with her hair if from the distance... we have to see each other... it's been 3 months since I saw her...

From my perspective, she is the one that has to break the wall that is between us... Like I said, if she really wants me to continue... she has to accept my very next invitation... Period...

And don't worry, nobody knows I'm going out with this other girl... only me and her 👍
