2 years ago, when I was younger and lets say......really desperate....The girl was Jacklyn, pretty blonde girl, thick as a brick but her looks made up for that. I made the awful mistake of telling her mow much I loved her, how much I needed her.....And even worse, all this in a text message...Yeah...very, very shabby.

But now I'm with this other girl, Elise, She's very beautiful, smart, she seems to have anxiety attacks nearly every day, but she's such a great girl to be with. I'm lucky to have her, we've been together for 6 and a bit months, and no plans of stopping it any time soon. :)

EDIT: And she's a brunette!

It's kinda rough for me because I have no experience with relationships at all and have no clue how to handle it. It seems like most 18 year old girls are expecting a guy to know how to treat a girl better than I know how. At least that's the message I get when my friends get along with new girls we meet better than I and always seem to get a girlfriend out of the deal. Like the girls know I don't know anything so they don't bother with me.

You shouldn't need to learn how to treat someone right.. its common sense. I've got the best boyfriend imaginable. I just think of him as my best friend (with benefits :sly:). Gives me sympathy when I want it, makes me laugh, even tells me off when I deserve it.. You've just got to feel comfortable with someone and it all just works itself out.
