Hey... I was just curious on who are planning on purchasing the new Godfather game? The release date is 03-21-06, last I heard... Should I get it? It looks good overall, and i think it might be fun.

oh Im definately going to get it, although Im going to hold out for the 360 version. Godfather I & II are some of the best movies ever.

I got this game the other day...


ITS SICK. Ive played like 9 hours already and have only gotten 11% through the game....

Alot of stuff to do, the controller even vibrates to the heart beat of the person your choking to death..kinda sick because it gets slower and lighter as the guy your choking dies.

Good times.

brilliant! I was worried the gameplay might of been thin but if your right im definitely buying it!!
btw i heard James Caan plays the voice of Santino so I'm expecting him to sound real but do the other main characters sound real??

All the orginal actors voices were used for the game. I believe they were flown in by ea just for this game.. 👍 👍

I just bought it on pc...awesome game especially if you watched the godfather films...although the driving could be a bit better lol.

IF you play "Mafia" on PC, the first chapter of this game was also called "An offer you can't refuse" ...Interesting...

yeah the driving could be better, but its still mass fun. Theres like 8 different ways to execute people. I just did one the other day where I put this dudes head in a toilet and blew it off..hahahahahahaha..

There is more than 8, check you execution style status, theres about 20 you need to do atleast once to get 100%

I heard someone else saying about the toilet execution, I thought he was joking, how do you do that?

I forget where in the city you are, but its part of a mission, I was beatin up dudes left and right, then I went to execute and it did happened. I crapped my pants the first time.

I never knew there were so many execution styles..

OK...I went back and looked, it may have been a hit? I havent beaten the game yet. Ive been trying to take out the families and raid shops during the play of the game. It seems more fun.
Everyone else seems to think it sucks because they beat the missions and then did the rest..its no fun, and its easy. Try taking out the families first. Its alot harder with lower weapons and limited cash.

It will go perfectly with my Godfather box set.

What I always do is bribe a FBI/G-Man. I think its $3000. You have plenty of time to find one. I think its 40 minutes, maybe 45, in real time to find one.

Like Lemke said you bribe a crooked FBI man for $3000 or bomb one of the rival familys (the family you are in war with) businesses.

Thanks. I paid off the FBI but i lost some respect! so from now on im only going to bomb.
A few more questions:
When does payday come?? its been ages since mine and i could really do with a big cash boost
And what happens to a shop once its bombed?

I don't ever recall losing repect, just vandetta, oh well.

Payday is monday 12:00am, check your notes for what day and time it is.

If you bomb a shop you will have an instant 5 police stars after you and that shop remains closed for a week.
