Love that its actually an exclusive to the ps3 as thats where it started..... Unlike gta or need for speed...
I'm pretty sure there were GT games on consoles besides the PS3.

How about the it's just a G and a T theory?

I'm just glad they didn't incorperate a number into it.
Otherwise they could have ended up like the Forza 4 logo, which actually says Forza III 4 lol.
To me it looks like a checkered flag

And it has curves like a racetrack.
paskowitzThis is exactly what I was going to say. The curve of the G is a from a race track and the T is supposed to resemble a checkered flag. The metal color scheme is like that of a car's surface. The opposing blue and red color symbolizes competition. /thread.
I know this isn't the interesting response, but I think it's a type font, and perhaps you need sleep.sorry if this has been asked before but is there a hidden image or meaning to the GT logo? every time i look at it it seems to me that there is more than meets the eye. there is almost a lower case d in there but i dont know.

I'm more intrigued by the choice of colors. Why blue and red? Could've been brown and orange you know![]()
It's remained virtually unchanged, too.
It did change a bit in the North American version of GT2:

The "G" was offset higher and was slightly behind the "T"
GT3 and later all reverted back exclusively to the original logo, and I think even the PAL and JP versions of GT2 used the original as well.
👍
It may even be the Deep Forest monkey!
