    THIS FORTNIGHT'S THEME

This week, we will be loyal to a brand. Last winner @Azabear6 set this theme, let's hear what he has to say :

You fortunately work for your favorite manufacturer and have been contracted to deliver a new racing livery for the team.

Replicas of previous campaigns are not wanted, but you can be inspired by the past or create a new begining for the future. This is a full manufacturer backed outfit so the make and or model must clearly be the primary sponsor. You can also use Factory backed tuners or auto technology associated with a manufacturer etc. So Mugen for Honda, Nismo, Gazoo, ecoboost, vtech, quattro etc as long as it aligns with the make of car. All secondry and tertiary sponsorship is your choice.

Choose any Gr1, 2, 3 or 4 machine. You can choose any number board for, real or esport championships but make it online compatible so our fellow enthusiasts can race your machine online.

    CARS :

    - Gr.1 to Gr.4.

    LIVERIES :
    - Original designs are recommended but it's okay to be inspired by the past to create a fresh design.

    UNIQUE RESTRICTIONS :
    - The car must be compatible with Sport Mode number board placement whether using one or not.
    - The make and/or model must be the main "sponsor" of the livery.

    BONUS PICTURES SETTINGS :
    - No restrictions.

    USER MADE DECALS :
    - Allowed.

    GENERAL COMPETITION RULES

    ENTRY SUBMISSION

    - The only way you can take part is to be a member of the GTPlanet forums. If you haven't created your account yet, click here
    - Mark your FINAL ENTRY clearly, with red text.
    - Unsure how to? Copy and paste the following:
    Code:
    [COLOR=red][B]FINAL ENTRY[/B][/COLOR]
    - One entry per user. It must be your own work, and never previously used in a competition.
    - You may change your entry once. Do it clearly; edit out your previous entry, and either post the new one in a new reply, or in place of the original.
    - Do not post "Honourable Mentions" or outtakes - just your Final Entry, that's all.
    - Absolutely no entries which utilize edited/hacked file saves.

    - Winner gets to choose the following Fortnight's theme.
    - Winners cannot enter in their own theme!
    - The Host may ask for the original image/livery and it must be submitted if so.
    - It's recommended to share the original livery online (in-game) to prove it’s your work.
    - Winner, second and third places will have to share the links of the liveries for the Hall of Fame thread

    ENTRY PRESENTATION

    - All images shall have preview images which may not exceed 640 pixels in either direction (main and bonus pictures)
    - You have to post two main pictures of your entry using the mandatory locations and settings as shown below
    - You are allowed to post one bonus picture in a spoiler with free location and settings (unless the unique restrictions of the week’s theme specify something else)
    - You have to make one post with ONLY the 3 pictures and the FINAL ENTRY mark. If you want to add precisions/background story/links, you are allowed to double-post under your entry. The best way to do it will be to "reply" to your own post.

    - It is recommended you host your image either here on GTPlanet (via the Media section), or on Flickr
    - Not sure how to submit your image? Here's a guide for both methods mentioned above.
    - A preview image must be representative of the full-size image. Do not add effects to it.
    - Please use a clickable-preview to full-size, not a separate text link for it; it makes poll creation much easier!
    - No heavy post-game editing, slight enhancing is allowed.

    MANDATORY PICTURES

    - You have to post a front quarter view and a rear quarter view of your car.
    - You can choose between the Shiretoko 03 location or the White Sands 01/09 locations. No other location will be allowed for the main pics.

    - If you choose the Shiretoko location, please follow the settings in the spoiler below.

    FINAL ENTRY

Hey all I just loved the colour pattern of the BMW's so I had to do something with it (and a bit of lack of time..... Going on Holiday!!). So I used a couple of BMW racing cars as inspiration and combined it to this brilliant new version. I hope it meets @Azabear6 requirements! Because I can't make a new for this competition, don't want to use an old car.

@Cytoria hope you don't get too many questions in what we can create! If this BMW isn't valid to compete then you can use one of the Audi's for the competition, which I send you. You can choose if I'm not on time online for the Poll.

I wanted to make a livery that had that a similar presence of power that the old GT liveries had back in '97/'98, like the Castrol Supra GT and the Nismo GTR LM. Other than that, everything was pretty random. The lines were inspired by how the 'Z' is styled in the Mazda logo (you can see on the left side how it lines up), and the colours were inspired by previous Mazda race cars such as the RX7 IMSA GTO and the 757, along with the green and red Castrol coloured stripes mirroring the JTCC Castrol Lantis (even though they are in the wrong order ). Probably needs more Castrol (cue the memes) but hopefully it projects a certain degree of Mazda.

Can we use the F1500 or SF19 if we wanted to do a F1 style livery for our manufacturer?

This is my Audi Sport VGT livery from a couple months ago. I entered it into the "back to basics" themed event and it really wasn't suited to that theme so it really suffered and got almost no votes. This version is the actual livery with all the manufacturer decals intact and prepped for the WEC.

The livery is essentially the 2016 Audi Sport colours as seen on the R8 LMS, R18 and others, but on the Audi VGT to give it a modern livery that differs from it's IMSA GTO inspired base livery. This livery gives it the appearance of a GT1 car that has been prepped for the 2023 World Endurance Championships in the newly revived GT1 class. There it races against Peugeot, Bugatti and Dodge entries on the world stage.

So I hope it does better this time around in a theme it's more suited for, because this is probably my favourite creation.

How would the Rothmans Porsche fall in this category? Technically there are 2 primaries for it with Porsche being one of them

    I like the livery, but it isn't a gr1, 2,3 or 4 car? :(

Although it is a Vision Gran Turismo car, the Audi VGT exists in both Gr.1 and Gr.X categories.
    - Audi VGT (Gr.1)
    - Audi e-tron VGT (Gr.X)

(Also the Bugatti VGT, Dodge SRT and some other Vision Gran Turismo cars...)

No another livery that I would modify, I just thought because Waflz is using one? Unless he didn't use his in the LEC?

Given my somewhat reasonable knowledge of race cars, a lot of factory teams run a more notable colour scheme than own brand sponsoring. Would this be ok to do? So let’s say red on a Ferrari or the white with red and blue of bmw or the red/black/silver of Audi?

Great design. But I’m seeing a lot of the Schubert 100 underneath the sponsors. Not to be a pain in the ass or anything. I’d say this is heavily influenced if anything as it’s not an exact replica.

Great design and I don’t want to come across like a butthole

Although I haven’t put big lettering stating that the car is from the bmw factory team, I tried to allow the colours and secondary sponsors to show it as a lot of teams do. I used pre existing decals as I don’t currently have the facility to upload some like I normally do so found it mor challenging and spent a lot of time manipulating the shapes. Hopefully this is acceptable!

The year is 2020. Leading up to the start of the ALMS season Chevrolet decided that they were gonna change their marketing strategy and instead push the whole brand over just a model. This new livery that came out also pays homage to the late, great, long time Chevy poster boy, Dale Earnhardt leading up to the 20th anniversary of his untimely death. It also pays tribute to the classic Grand Sport C3 Corvettes of the 1960's with a refresh to modernize the look.

What if situation if Toyota really put Supra GTE concept to Lemans race, they will have 3 livery one the Gazoo, second is Denso and third is this, Aisin. All is from Toyota group, the sponsor I put itself all related to Toyota at least some main team been use that sponsor.

Personally I want put "another" Gazoo livery but to think that's too usual for Supra livery, so put this livery instead. And yea, I make all three livery so I pick for myself which one I'll run on daily and put in here.

    Aisin:

Once again I've ended up with quite a minimal design. It's pretty crazy I end up with something that looks so simple because my process involves me throwing just about everything i can at the car in the livery editor, only to strip it all back to a minimal design. Oh well. Anyway, NISMO was the first choice for me and the 400R was my base influence on this one. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, my biggest problem was settling on a base colour. I have black, white and red versions also.
