So after long deliberation I decided to go with my Advan Supra. It was modernized by using a matte black as the base with glossy decals and some added extra fades and newer company decals to fit the current times.
Could there have been a BMW's M6 Procar championship ? That was the first thing came to my mind with this LEC !
The BMW M1 'Procar Championship was held in 1979 and 1980 at several European F1 weekends, where F1 drivers (top5) were able to compete in this championship along BMW factory drivers. Would it be possible to have a championship like that now-adays? BMW isn't active in the pinnacle of motorsports, so no worries about politics and marketing (maybe?). Wouldn't be awesome to have something like that again? That was my inspiration to make at least 3 liveries and choose the best livery for the LEC, which is clearly been the BASF with racing number 76.
I've choosen for a rather simple numberplate by BMW Motorsports and the M6 GT3 by Walkenhorst is from my opinion the perfect successor of the M1 Procar ?! Read more about this championship on Wikipedia, it's a great article and above that, watch this 10 minute video.. (I wish I did before I started with the liveries.. )
The hardest parts on the M6 are the bonet with the airvents categorized in other, it was hard to match the BASF spiral perfectly with the one in the Bonet category. Also, there's a flaw on the fuel cap, every shape you put over it, it got jagged so I couldn't place a decal over it or it should look very odd.
Then I thought, all the BASF liveries I've seen this far, in the real world and in games, also GTsport, the spirals don't match when you look at the cars from different angles. That was a hurdle too (and fun to make) and that's why I came with a pretty red 'no spirals' end of the car. And thanks to the video, I forgot to place the BMW logo's at each corner, I might do that in the next 2 days..
The Boss livery was fun to make. At first, I used a few of the wider stripes in the basic shapes section, the ones with narrow space between them. Dublicated them one over the other. Then set the thin stripes between the wide ones and after everything was copied to both sides of the car, deleted the layers with the wider stripes and there I had the base of the Boss livery
Here is the story of my entry, I'll try to make it short! @Slender_Man it's on you!
You may have seen my baby before as I already posted this on GTP a few days ago, I've waited a little bit but finally it had to be this one!
Thanks to @Slender_Man for this amazing theme, I could have come up with 10 different liveries I've already made since the launch without too much work to fit the rules.
And some others...
Some of them are quite old, please be kind!
But I wanted something I hadn't done yet, and something I knew had already been in a GT game.
So I thought about this great memory of mine, my cousin and some old friends from #gamekult (hope it's OK to name the site ) back in years when GT5 finally launched with its online races!
We did some kind of DTM championship and I teamed up with my cousin in the M3 LM Race Car '01.

13 guys for the first race, and the really first online race for one of my friend, starting from behind in his Opel Calibra on this Nürburgring GP... and killing everyone at the first corner!
Another guy had illustrated this some days later...

But we had tons of fun together and this is a chapter of my history with this game and had led me there few years later!
I'm a big BMW fan and I'm really happy to have finally done this livery so once again, big thanks @Slender_Man and @everyone here for making this!
We all know the MOMO livery. Simple red with yellow lines outlined black.
Well I wanted to change that. As with Cytoria’s Castrol theme, I went for something different. I wanted to break tradition and bring a new look. Plenty of nods to the classic momo look with a lot of up to date changes and plenty of minor details to keep the eyes busy for a while!
Anyway, the story of the car is simple. 2021 has come around and a privateer team with far too much money decided the hypercar class needed something new Already. This is where the p1 comes in to play. It’s running McLarens speedtail drivetrain and hybrid system that was introduced to the class in 2020 and was forced by the fia, to be available for privateers to reduce costs. Other than that, the car is a basic P1 GTR. MOMO thought it would be great to go to Le Mans and jumped on the bandwagon along with many of the old McLaren sponsors! Opting to move away from a solid red car though which has raised many eyebrows!
P.s. I wanted to do a modernised throwback, not just an old livery on a new car. If this isn’t deemed worthy, then I’ll be happy to change to another livery I have at the ready.

No, this was... an up to date version on the Martin Veyhle Racing Mclaren F1 GTR that entered only 3 races in the GT1 class and didn’t start 2 from what I remember due to mechanical issues. If my information is right, this is the harrods #06R Chassis and the car was later converted by lanzante and returned to its harrods colours.

I think you did well with the new one but this one had to be there if you hadn't nothing else!
Simple but perfectly executed and with a nice story and beautiful colors.
