Maybe, but you have to take into account that the Tacoma is a smaller size truck than any of the other ones. You also have to factor in the 300 lbs difference in weight than the closest competitor. Then the fact that the Silverado has 482 lbs more than the Tacoma. The only reason the SVT is competitive is because it was made to be a track car. The SST is competitive because it has 800+ horsepower. In these regards, the Ram is not very competitive because it is a proper truck, redneck shotgun rack and all. The SSR is uncompetitive because it weighs as much as the SST but is very close to 200 HP short (and it sits on a very poor chassis in real life).
