You're welcome! :) Though to be honest, Razerman is the one that deserves the thanks because he's the one that made it.

Not that I know of, I never really fiddled with altering car parts much in this game.

I cant get the editor to startup. When i click on the exe file it does nothing
Can't say I have an easy answer for that one. Hard to know without actually seeing your computer myself.

That will certainly help. OBS is good for this sort of thing, I’d recommend that one in this case.

Sorry for the delay, but this editor generates an error log in the directory you have in the editor if something goes wrong. Do you have one there and if so, can you please post it?

I dont have a directory
Could you check if there's something in the Event Viewer logs? Check for errors in "Windows Logs/Application" and/or "Windows Logs/System". I would assume Event Viewer to have some information about the error (remember to refresh the events list after trying to open the editor).

As an example, I removed SQLite.Interop.dll file from my app dir and tried to open the application. The editor wouldn't open but this popped up in the Application logs.

What I mean is, inside the folder where you have the editor saved on your computer, there might be an error log in there that could help us figure out what's going on here.

It doesn't really say what file it can't find but I had a hunch that you might be trying to run it from inside the zip package. So I went ahead and tested that, and it gave me the same exact error in Event Viewer then. Is that how you were trying to run it? If so, make sure you've extracted all the files before double clicking the GT6Editor.exe. It won't run properly otherwise because it can't find the dll files it needs.

So make sure it looks something like this:

Now i have this problem

Judging by the error, I am going to hazard a guess you might be selecting the wrong folder. You have to select the save game folder itself for it to load.

Oh so i got to insert my game save for it to open?

Yes. It should be in the savedata folder on whatever device you copied your save to.

I think it’s high time I update the original post with some basic instructions on how to use it.

I actually dont have access to a PS3 at the moment. I was just installing the editor beforehand so i can use it when i get a new console. I was using x64 and x86 to open the editor, that is what causes the issue right?

I am not even sure what to say about the latter part, but do you actually have a save game for GT6 on hand?

Well this is a save editor, it’s not meant to edit anything other than save games for GT6.

I just saw a youtube comment saying that the save editor doesnt work with windows 11 and you have to be on windows 10. Is that true?

That I don’t know. The creator will have to confirm that one because I cannot.

Which youtube video was it because that's just not true? I have Windows 11 myself and it works just fine.
