The GT7 Wish list (Read OP)

I'd like to see a tribute for Kunimistu Kuni-San Takahashi. Sadly passed away in March. :nervous:

I just read this awesome story about him

March 6, 1977, the opening round of the All Japan F2000 Championship at Suzuka Circuit. Takahashi was holding first place going into the penultimate lap when the second-place driver Kenichi Take****a, crashed behind him and impaled his car on a guardrail. Takahashi immediately pulled over and ran over to the wreckage to help his fellow driver, seemingly giving up the chance to nab the checkered flag. Both the race marshals and Takahashi’s rival drivers were deeply moved by this act of selflessness. What unfolded next could have come straight out of a movie script. Subsequent drivers, witnessing Takahashi’s kindness, one by one all stopped their cars to follow him and aid Take****a. Officials ended the race on a red flag, meaning the positions right before the crash would stand as the final result. So even though Takahashi didn’t technically finish the race, he still won.

Hello everyone. How are you?

I've been thinking about things for the list but I wanted to wait to be more advanced in the "campaign mode", yesterday I arrived at cafe menu 33 I think, I have to get 3 GTRs, my favorite cars ;)
but I stayed entertained with American cars that's why it took me so long to advance.

Having mentioned this I am going to put things on this list that may later be enabled or things that other users mention that I really like, so I apologize if it is already on someone else's list.

-main game OFFLINE

-be able to thoroughly calibrate the steering wheel, pedals and gear box.

to be able to calibrate dead zone of the pedals.

In Dirt 4 I use the shifter as if it were a sequential transmission, in third gear I set it to be up a gear and in fourth gear I set it to be down a gear.

-to be able to customize how and what information is seen on the screen while driving.

i play from inside the car without any information on the screen for more immersion, but i need to know certain things while driving and the fact that every time i want to know something, i have to pause the game enable race info see what i need, pause again and get the information on the screen, which is quite annoying.

If customizing what is seen on the screen is difficult to program, put a button so that the information appears and disappears dynamically, in PROJECT CARS 2 and in SNOWRUNNER with a button the information appears and disappears and does not break the player's immersion .

Not to mention when I go to pits I can't see the commands to change tires and refuel.

-allow to turn on the lights of the interior dashboard at will, because at this moment they only turn on when it is night, I ask this because without information on the screen I need to know the RPM of the car and in certain cars, even if it is during the day, the dashboard does not look very good. an example is the Golf Gti ’83.

-Improve how the cars enter and leave the pits, someone already mentioned that when the rivals and i finished loading or changing tires, all the cars magically appear all together in the final line of the pits.

-please allow us to sell cars from our garage, it would be a way to obtain credits, it is already quite annoying to earn money at this time.

-someone already mentioned that the damage and scratches on the car should be visible until they are repaired, to this I add that the car gets dirty more realistically, dust and dirt should be on the windshield and wheels, burnt oil around the pipe exhaust, rubber burned and stuck around the fenders, bugs on the front of the car.

for me all this would make sense to REPAIR AND WASH the car.

-some cars it seems that the factory spoilers do not have down force or at least it is not seen in the configuration menu, example the stock ford gt I think it has 80 down force in the front and in the back, but SuperBird 0 down force in the back... WTF?!

the Camaro Z/28 clearly has a small spoiler front and rear and yet 0 downforce?

-add more subtle rear spoilers or wings or approprieate for classic cars like De Tomaso Mangusta or Ferrari 365 GTB4 to name a few.

- Greater variety of events or races, so far all races have too many restrictions, for example only American cars, only Porsches, only German cars. why? in all the circuits there must be a race to play with any car. For example, Interlagos 500 PP, 600 PP, 700 PP and 800 PP as the only restriction.

-There should be a way to get used cars mileage down to 0. (replacing the engine doesn't fix it)

-having a garage or house like THE CREW 2 where you can park several cars and be able to inspect them to your liking and even start them and listen to the engine, I love that now when you change cars you can listen to the engine for a few seconds.

Sorry if it's too much to read. now cars and circuits that I would like to see in the future.

-Dubai race track
-Renault Clio Williams '93
-Renault IKA Torino ZX
-VW Golf GTI VR6 MK III and MK IV
-Ford Shelby Mustang GT500 Super Snake
-Ford Escort MkI mexico 1600GT
-Dodge Challenger SRT DEMON
-Daihatsu Charade GTti ‘93
-Suzuki Swift GTI ‘98
-Chevrolet Chevelle SS
-Pontiac GTO ‘66
-Buick GNX ‘87
-Lamborghini Gallardo
-Lamborfhini Sesto Elemento
-Lexus LFA
-Koenigsegg Agera R
-Caterham Seven
-Nissan Skyline GTR “Kenmeri” ‘73

If you got this far I thank you. I hope my list and everyone's list reaches the developers of the game. best regards to all.

Please add a feature for each car within the Brand Central to let us know if the car can do Wide Body or not. They can add a Wide Body icon next to each car to let us know.

Because right now, I can't tell which car can do Wide Body or not. I just spent about $1 million dollars on 3 cars and none of those cars can do Wide Body. What a waste of money.

Is this serious?

"I can't widebody them? WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY" lol

Yes, very ****ing serious!

Why add the wide-body kit feature in this game and not let the players know which cars can facilitate the feature.

I can't be the only person who bought this game only for customization, tuning, and photography. Didn't buy this game for racing. I like their wide-body aesthetic in this game and the best I have ever seen.

Seeing as PD appear to be recognising the communities interest in Engines - give us an Engine Swap event!
Yes... exactly like this mockup I made a while back.

1656084827358.png

1. Rewards for continued use of the same car.
For example, exclusive parts or engines are added to the parts shop for a certain number of miles on the same car. This can coexist with roulette tickets, so those who want to be sure of getting the parts can keep using the same car, while those who want to save time can target those parts in the roulette.

2. Add the same cameras as in the other sections to "Body 2."
For example, Body 2 section on some cars like Escudo, A220 and 32 Ford has a large paint section besides the top.
However, even for such cars, it is difficult to apply decals neatly to the sides and front of these cars because there is only one preset camera available for Body 2.

3. Addition of a random grid in the online lobby.
I often play online races with friends, and unless I keep time record before the race starts, the grid is basically based on the rating.
Therefore, friends who have just started the game or who do not like the sport mode will inevitably start from a lower grid.
And since it is mandatory to run at least two laps to leave a time, waiting for everyone to do this takes time away from enjoying more races.
If a random grid is added, at least we will have a fairer grid, and shorter time to prepare the race than the current rating based system.

Buying, selling and making offers with other people online or with your GT7 owner friends in used vehicle purchases and sales. Most Japanese or British cars are added to the game with right-hand drive. Bringing a choice when purchasing the car and driving the car with left or right hand drive. (some car manufacturers only have right-hand drive cars produced specifically for that country, but why not such a feature) The multimedia in some vehicles is either blank or the logo of the emblem of the car brand. It would be nice to be able to see information about the vehicle on the screens there. We could change the horn of our vehicles in GT5. (I haven't received the game yet, maybe there is :() Stock vehicles can add multiple different Stock wheel and bumper options to the game. It adds variety. The reason why there were 1200+ vehicles in GT6 was that most Japanese car manufacturers added the same car to the game in different years, with different engine features, causing so many vehicles to appear. But I think this is a very good thing, there are already 2 new cases of Supra in the game, and the difference between them is one 2019 and one 2020, and the differences in very few engines. Some GR3 in GT7. GR4. The stock versions of the vehicles are not in the game. There is a BMW M6 GT3, but it is not in stock. It would be great if the game made us use all the tools in the game. There were a lot of cars in GT6, but there was no event to use them all or we were playing the same races over and over. I mostly like to race with stock vehicles and only yesterday I used GR3 GR4 vehicles to win a medal in the GTS (I didn't like it at all) I just used it to advance in the game and I really liked it. In the career mode or if there are Cup races or missions specific to each vehicle, both the playing time will increase in the game and everyone can try different vehicles and increase their fun in the game. Of course, everyone wants more car brands. Volvo, Rover, Saab... Racing events that should be added to the game. BTCC, Nascar,

Besides more tracks or cars (which we obviously all want to see more) here's my wishlist of features:

1. Customizable UI including:
a. Quick hide/unhide HUI during race (good for OLED TV's)
b. Customizable HUI (clock is way too low for example).

2. Camera options:
a. Include a interior view closer to windshield without the wheel (just like Forza Horizon 5)
b. Add a hood camera.
c. Enable rotation for roof/hood camera.

3. Custom races:
a. Enable saving custom races.
b. Enable switching driving car from the list.
c. Enable default tire/tuning setups. (All cars with Soft Tires for example or all stock cars)
d. Enable custom championship with custom races. Maybe even add championship prizes?
e. Adding custom races as part of events in the Tracks section.

4. Garage:
a. Keep garage view/filters/sort permanent based on use.
b. Enable car comparison side by side or even more than 2 cars.
c. Live view of garage with all cars parked, or as an exhibition. Just as Jay Leno's Garage or something like that. (it would be awesome to behold your whole car collection live, not sure if PS5 is technically capable of such task though)

5. Racing:
a. Enable automatic transmission override. Enable upshifts when in automatic.
b. AI seems to slow down after being passed. They should be able to keep the same level of speed as before being passed.
c. Closer starts but with faster/harder to race AI. More races with grid starts.

6. GT Café:
a. Partner with Cars and Coffee or other car meet groups or associations to give more life to an otherwise stale environment at the Café.
b. Pebble Beach style type of meets or galas. Car customization competitions "live".

Two important ones for me at the moment:

(1) Make it so we can save custom race settings. Being able to share them would also be nice. If we could save our custom events, there would almost be no need for PD to create more pre-made races.

(2) Add the ability to adjust downforce in cars that have a factory rear spoiler (like the Superbird) or a factory front splitter / other factory front body kit (like the Firebird). These two cars are almost undriveable because you can only increase/decrease downforce on one end of the car. I’m sure it’s an issue on some other cars too but it’s most obvious with these two.

Just a little thing to add more fun and variety to the used car dealer:
Used cars should come in different conditions... this way it would not be a problem having 3 or 4 of the same car in the UCD if they were in different price/conditions... bad oil, bad engine, bad chassis and all.

EG:A mint Honda S2000 with 10.000km would go for 100k credits but a beater with 120.000km would go for like 30k, but then you need to do a chassis and engine refresh to make it really worthy.

Also pre-tuned cars in the Used Car Dealer would be cool.
You know, more variety and fun looking for bargains.

Live view of garage with all cars parked, or as an exhibition. Just as Jay Leno's Garage or something like that. (it would be awesome to behold your whole car collection live, not sure if PS5 is technically capable of such task though)
If you're thinking of how it was in TDU, then yes the PS5 is perfectly capable doing it - just maybe not with ray tracing. If they took advantage of the fast loading speeds so only the cars on-screen were loaded it might work, but either way the PS4 is the real issue here.

I wanted to make a 70s stance drag Challenger. I put a Motorhead sticker on the back, and all the NHRA memberships and championship winner decals on there. Got this whole Ace of Spades, king-of-the-track thing going.

Went to widebody it, and came back to it having Chicago deep dish pizzas for wheels.

Polyphony, this is what I wanted to achieve: a regular muscle car with an axle and differential from a truck and large slicks on the back.

This is what centerlines are supposed to look like!

Give me the option of proper offset and wheel sizing, not whatever feature you've tested on one car and then copy and pasted that code to all of the cars. It looks ridiculous and it's a half-assed attempt at proper wheel sizing.

Also add more wheels on there! Where is HRH?? You have their logo...

Some sort of rental system for certain things in the game. Maybe something like =< 20% of the original cost of the item, with different lengths of time you can rent them. Some that come to mind:
  • All unmodified invitational cars
  • Non Gr.3/Gr.4 Touring Cars (including SR3 & X-Bow)
  • Copen RJ
  • Select unmodified legend dealership cars
  • All tire compounds/types
  • Nitrous System
Where some legends cars can be rented for up to 1-3 days, invitationals for 5 days, and others for up to a week. Tires can be rented for a day only per car. A nitrous kit for only a few hours per car. Create a #Rental class where the user can specify which rental cars are allowed in lobbies. Also, actually allow us to use the "#" system in general.

The option to have identical cars in lobbies based on the host's car. When a new player joins they're given a prompt to rent a car identical to the host's.
Make the rate much lower than a normal rental. Hosts that have an exceptionally rare car give others the ability to race with the same machine only for the duration they are in the lobby.

This is less of a wish and more of a feature idea.

Flag or Alert of some kind of indicator on the HUD when you have failed the CRB. And I mean right when it happens instead of waiting till the end of the race to find out if you lost the CRB when you rolled across 8" of grass in the first 3 minutes of a 20 minute race.

Here’s a wish to go along with the VR wishers. In the same breath, doesn’t even have to be VR exclusive either.

Adding to the ability to enter cars like the Forza Vista, allow players to sit in a Seat that has a seatbelt(driver, passenger, front, rear, middle) and be able to use the radio. Tune it to whatever music playlist and chill out in the interior. Just as if at a dealership or sitting in your own car.
Roll the windows up or down, open the top or close it, click the hazards on, flash the lights, use the touch screen(if so equipped), scroll with the radio knobs and be easy. Something like that.

  • An option to export our photos directly from the game to console/USB in PNG
  • An option to keep original decals when repainting a car and changing livery
  • Allow to use all custom wheels on all cars
  • Add "drift" setting in Scapes, with smoke and correct direction of motion blur
  • An option to remove driver's helmet in Scapes, there are plenty of models in game used for marshalls and spectators which would work just fine
  • Photomode for already existing and fully modelled 3D locations in game
  • Proper pitstops instead of cut scenes
In addition to this, would be really nice to have some proper freedom while using photomode in an interior. See no reason for a camera to be fixed, all interiors are modelled more than enough for this.

Open Lobby same console only toggle pleease.
Still to laggy especialy when player enter or exit the track and there are on a diffrent console.

You know what would be really cool? Manufacture rim options in the GT Auto. So say you really like the design of the rims on the 356 Speedster and would like to use them on the 356 coupe or the 356 coupe rims on the speedster or 550 spyder.
You can do that in The Crew 1/2 and there's quite a lot of official wheels. It'd be a great addition to GT7.

And please ad an expansion for the tuning store.
Carbon propeller shaft, ultra high rpm turbscis, weight reduction type 5 etc.

So many swapped and already tuned to the max cars. And still so many missing parts.

And in my opinion when we add weight reduction 5 they should remove intirior parts and replace them with racing seets and racing wheel and transforme them in a own class like from N to T for time attack or something.

I think it should be a big priority for PD to give race and road cars a more equal balance in fuel consumption.

I’m enjoying customizing cars into race versions that can compete with Gr4 & Gr3 cars, but right now, the only custom road cars that can really do well against them are one with Gr3 or Gr2 engines swapped into them like the M3 and the Crown.

Maybe this has something to do with the fuel tank sizes too, but some balancing of fuel consumption to make it so tuned road cars can compete against race cars a little better in races where the fuel consumption is on.
