Just a heads up, the room for the 80s trip tonight will open at 11:30 PM BST (British Summer Time, GMT+1, convert to your local times). By the time everyone has bought cocaine from their dealers and used a whole can of hairspray for their mullets, we'll probably set off from Chumash Pier at about 12:00 AM BST (midnight, so, half an hour after the room opens). If everyone is ready before that, we'll set off earlier, but we won't be setting off later because people start to get restless when they're waiting around. If you turn up late, you'll just have to catch up.

Yeeeeeah, that's 6:30 EST for me... and I'm going to an amusement park in minutes so I may come back a bit late... quite late.

Well, seeing as though my Aunt, for some really weird reason, thought that calling me at 7am was a nice and thoughtful idea, I didn't get much sleep to be able to make it until 3am like you.

top tip 4 life, turn your voicemail service on - my phone didn't stop ringing for like 5 minutes straight

Saying that @Katiegan "could have" made it earlier sounds like you want the time to be convenient to just you and not the rest of the club.

Well the time isn't convenient, only to you guys in the US, not everybody wants to play at near midnight.
 
The event opens at 11:30 PM BST. We set off at 12:00 AM BST. That's the way it is now, and that's the way it's always going to be. I can't please everyone, but I tried to include as many people as I could. Give it a rest.

Also, I'm fully expecting to see you all wearing more make-up than I'll be. After all, this is 80s themed...

Yep. Personally, I've gone for an 80's crime drama star look... called back from retirement to chase down the crime ring that killed his wife, he's a dashing maverick of a cop with a slick mustache and a penchant for justice. With his smooth talking rookie sidekick, they solve the crimes that each lead them one step closer to the man in charge of the madness. Tom Blelleck is Thomas Blagnum in... BLAGNUM PI.

5 minutes? You sure it's not more like an hour early? Unless I messed up the time differences.

Just little under an hour to go until we put on the leg warmers and party like it's 1999! The Monroe mission is going to have to be aborted. I'll be turning up in something else... but what that is exactly I don't know yet. :lol:
