I put;

-Magic counter(you get that in the choco races) with Knight of the round
-A couple of counter materia, that's why you see Cloud hit more than once
-Final attack with Life materia
-Cover materia(Make sur he's the one getting hit so he will counter with the couple of counter hit with Knight of the Round at the end)

Though, you have to beat the chocobo quest.(Though I don't know if you got to beat both weapon, but I did both weapon).

I've heard of some of these materia strategies, but this one is genius in it's simplicity (as it only uses 6 materia) but it allows you to beat the last bosses in the game almost too easily.

Excellent video, by the way. The "surprise" ending was quite a shock.

Wow that video is amazing! :O I am not going to talk about the surprise at the ending since it will ruin the uniqueness of this video. 👍

Your video reminded me so much of how flexbile the materia system is and how people can come up with killer combos. :O

I really think Square-Enix is being dumb of not remaking a Final Fantasy VII for the PS3. :nervous:

The worst part isn't how I beat Sephiroth.

When you master materia, a new one grow up, so it's very possible to beat the game just by not touching it. So under 99hour & 59min is possible.

Edit Add up. I always wanted to show this video, cause I never heard of someone doing it either on the internet or the people surrounding me. Though during that time I had 14 years old when I did that save file, now I'm 22 years old. I'm still proud of that little save file that I still kept for many many years. :)

I only played the old ones... It feels more like a real RPG when it's in 2d but I have no doubt the 3d one are excellent but I never really played them. I have played
FFI, FFII (dawn of souls), FFIII, FFIV (ps1), FFTA and I would play FFVII if I could find it.

If you have a PS2 get FFX, probably the most complete FF you will find. 👍
 
I preferred VII to X, I liked X, but I didn't think the story was as good as VII's.
 
Everyone is making VII, the one I have not played sound like its the best... Darn :lol:
 
I can't even remember playing VII that much. I still prefur VIII though. :) I loved the boss at the end, Ultamica(sp?).

For that boss in FFVIII, I just simply beat her to death without the lion heart. GF abuse is my answer to all problems in FFVIII! :lol:

I just restarted FFX this morning and loving it all over again. 👍 I give credit to my little cousin who erased the WRONG saved data that he saved on my memory card. 👍 Good thing he didn't wipe out the entire memory card.
 
I just used all my character's limit breaks. If I recall correctly you can't use GF in the final battle.

I would like to have the PC version of FFVII. :lol: I remember it have better graphics compared to the PS1 version. FFVII on the PC would be a nice edition game for any laptop. :drool:

It would more than probably overheat mine, like any game does. :lol:

I think the first EVER FF game we really got into was the PC version of FFVII. I faintly remember my Dad playing it once, but I can't remember where he was. Near the beginning I think.

I have no idea what my Dad did with the game though.

I just need an FF for the PSP!

I still have yet to beat FF7, but I did see a pirated version of FF AC... omg!!!!

Well,if you have win 98 and not XP.Apparently,if you have XP,either the game freezes at the chocobo races or like me it refuses to run at all.... :( :( :(


And I don't have Win98...........

Yevon's techings were ignored after the events of FFX, in FFX-2 Yevon is considered a lie, therefore Machina is allowed in everyday life, especially since Sin is no more. :sly:

There is a DS Final Fantasy : Crystal Chronicles (Wi-Fi) in developpement and I also played FF : Crystal Chronicle on the GC with 3 friends and I just say... WOW...
