Sorry FH, I'm just confirming my seat for next weekend, although not sure if bigtex will make it. I'll be there unless my internetz fail. :yuck:

Now that I have my Camaro tuned properly... It's still a fun car but I found it slightly slower. If you or your teammate can't make a race I would love to drive for team Chevy again 👍

No problem man, just have the right set up this time xD hehe, the Camaro is great for learning and development I found. I'd love to try the other cars as well some time. I like Damu and Tez's car's too was a nice drive and less of a handful on the grass.

Well I was talking top speed at Daytona... I'm sure with a good draft coming off a corner you can get a good run on someone. And my setups aren't perfect either :P 0:51:9 at Daytona Superspeedway compared to 0:50:5s

Hey Polar, put me back as a GT reserve please I want to spend the rest of this season focusing on that class. I still might race DP if I'm needed though.
 
I should be able to run some practice this afternoon. I don't think I will be busy.

For whatever reasons, I can't for the life of me make that car go anywhere near as fast in a straight line. I get the acceleration like a boss, but as it shifts to the final 2 gears, I don't get the same grunt. I must have the transmission set wrong for it...

Also, yeah.... you Audi guys are having too much trouble in a straight line. Looks like you're overcompensating the cornering. With AWD and access to turbos, you guys should be ripping away til gear 6.

Still lacking corner speeds.... but luckily the set up was right for that moments.... keeping more aces up my sleeve :sly:

I couldn't edge the audi though... but that was good defense kudos
 
It was a very close battle with all of the different gt cars. The Audi does a little better at the end of the straights, but initially the other cars, especially the Astons and Camaros, are able to pull ahead. Makes it very difficult to complete a pass, particularly at Fuji. I was able to get good runs out of the corners, but then the car just fell on it's face and I found myself giving back positions on the straight. I don't know how I could have given it anymore without compromising cornering speed, which I don't want to do. So I just bide my time until the right moment. I was lucky to pull away from the pack and catch up with Gaz. I'd had my fill of four wide into turn one.:P
 
Well, if anyone is willing to share some times from Nurb, that would be great. Then guys would have some times to shoot for :)

I've been playing Metal Gear Rising. I love it. 1:54's at Nurburgring from testing offline is what my 2 lap run has produced.

Some kids were talking about that game today! Sounds really cool, but I got the ok for a PS4 for christmas.. So I'm already saving up for some games! My biggest mistake this generation of consoles was buying games just to buy games. I need to think much more before I go out and spend 60 dollars on a game!


And Seth, we're racing at GP/D. Not GP/F. Unless you're 20 seconds slower than a ToCA car there.. You're at the wrong track! LOL!

Then I plan to buy a proper PC and a G27.. And... iRacing! :D That will come around Summer time.

So should have enough to buy it myself in Christmas, with hopefully some christmas money to help out :p.
 
Well, ~20 seconds off of GP/F for GP/D sounds about right.
 
At Fuji F, when I set my limiter to 601 HP I am running 1:42s like y'all were last Saturday. But when I set it to 430 HP I can't run a 1:44 for the life of me :P

That's a great plan! I want a PC of my own, but for some reason I'm not allowed to get one... Even when I had 1,200 ready to go for it... "No." So, I'll just keep using the family computer :P

And Seth, the touring cars were getting about 1:40's, so I think we will get 1:30.xxx's
 
From my memory Toca cars did 35s on RH back in S4.2 which we have proved at Cape that times are about 1+ seconds faster so 33s I would rekon. So for GT 1:30s and bellow easy I'd say and DP 7-10 faster than that.

What times did you get on the nurburgring GP/D
 
Hey GT Drivers. If you wouldn't mind could you send me your transmission and drivetrain specs? So if I backup for your car the manufacturer will have a better chance at not finishing last with me behind the wheel :P if you want to keep them private I can understand as well.
