Road America can die in a hole. I've hated it since I seen it in V8 Supercars 2.
 
That's absurd. Road America is one of the best tracks in the U.S. The huge straights and long sweeping corners are great. You don't get much better in terms of layout and types of corners.
 
To me Road America should just burn to death, sort of like what Mel said about him wanting Laguna Seca to be burried in sand.

I hate Road America for these reasons.
1. The Map design is hideous.
2. It is not fun.

To me Road America is the WORST track IN THE WORLD even the NASCAR Oval tracks a 10 times more fun Road America.
 
Road America is one of the best tracks in the world. It's like our Nurburgring. It's a beast and they drive Nationwide cars there.:P I don't think you're thinking of Road America if you think it's the worst track in the world. Also, can't make it to the race this week. Buddy just got tickets to the Conference USA tourney so unless that falls through, I don't think I'll make the race. So, if you want RB, we can do some practicing some time this week and I'll see if I can help you be more competitive in the Audi. Anyway, Road America rules. And Road America is in Forza. Therefore, Forza rules.:P

Yes, I do know Road America but I seriously don't like it (I understand and respect your views on Road America but I disagree). My favourite Race Track is Oran Park but it is now gone :( :( :( :( :( :(.

I'm more of a Castle Combe guy, but Oran is pretty cool.
 
I best say something now that Paul's essentially :censored:ing given the game away for GT. Yes, 1:30's easy at Nurburgring GP/D for the GT class, while I'm seeing a 6-7 second difference in DP, so 1:23's are plausible. My decent lap in the Nissan was 1:24.8, but most of DP are faster than me, and I know I can be faster....

So lads, push for 1:28's in GT? ;)

Oran park housing estate ;) but I loved that track too.. Also it's coming or is allready in iRacing 👍.

You try driving through the kink at 150 mph and not finding it fun. :scared: How could you not?

It's no Mosport, nor Macau, nor Nürburgring, but it's fun enough.

Actually, since Road America's just as scary, but, not as technical, I'm still going to re-assert my opinion as fact: Mid-Ohio SCC is still much better.
 
I knew someone was about to say it wasn't fun because I never win, I do win but it is just not entertaining and it doesn't make me want to do more, it makes me only want to do it once.
 
polar, I was wandering if you've ever considered entering DP or GT in my Cape Ring 360km, only 1 spot left (I change the format to 3 classes 5 drivers).
 
I'd be down for GT I think. When is it?

May or may not be at GP/D now.. Taking part in Knockhills red nose day fund raiser. "Comic relief karting challenge) It's a 150 lap race on the kart track, I know some names from SMRC so will be fun! :D

It starts at 11:30am so need to be down there at 11am, said the email. So will need to leave at 8am which leaves little time to sleep :p.
 
Anyone doing GT can join for the Cape Ring 360km.
 
I've yet to time myself but will announce on Friday when I get home, nice times so far thought (I think??) :sly:
