Well we didn't have a set host last night, and the race quality was set to high. If it was at low the problems would've been much less.

Oh, and visual damage was on.

Yep. Make race quality standard or worse and visual damage needs to be off.

If mustard can host with low quality and no visual damage we will be fine.
 
I'm back, it was a great birthday.
How was SSR5 ;).
 
I'm still up for Polar hosting. Only Storm had problems there; several people had problems in Mustard's room.

Nintendo DP will hold a (fake) press conference at the end of the season. It'll be about the teams' future plans for next season and involving their association with "Lexus" :dopey:.
 
Indianapolis this weekend! It's the second round of the NAEC, so the race will be longer than a normal race. Hopefully we can get the race going quickly and not have any connection issues this weekend :)

Great. I'll be back for this race. I know what to do with my setup to make it perfect. I have the spot race setup still on one of the sheets :)
 
Would it be possible for the DP guys to park in the pits in their finishing order on the final lap? It's so frustrating getting caught behind a car going 40 on the racing line, especially when I had a shot at 3rd.

It won't work because if you have a race to the line like ant and I had at grand valley in pre season, it wouldn't work. Also, people's pit boxes can be past the finish line.

And I won't do anything like that mid season.

After Indy we will decide on a future season and such, and I would like some ideas!

The solution is adding an extra lap and DP stops somewhere and after GT makes it to the one lap left we do a parade lap to the finish.

Thats fair enough, was juat a suggestion. The idea of adding an extra lap could work. As long as everyone knows and understands what is going on.
 
Let me just say; the Team Championship for DP must be fixed for next season (maybe 2 cars per team and/or do the point system for teams like what they do for real life).

Your pit crew and crew chief does :lol:.
If no one cares about then why, we have it?

In real life sports car racing I've never gave a damn about the Drivers Championship (Especially when teams keep on switching drivers).
 
Also, It would be nice to have the DP Teams exciting like GT.

The DP team championship is not really a big deal for me. The DP drivers championship is where all the fun is right now.

And the teams championship isn't broken, no one made teams...

I don't mean it by that. It is just the Team Championship for DP looks hugely boring and one-sided but the NAEC and Rolex Drivers are still available :D. Since I missed out on 3 rounds my main focus now is the NAEC.
 
Had a good practice session at Indy earlier. All I can say is I LOVE this track!

Ala the whole last 2 seasons... and spot races. ;)
 
About the whole DP slow down thing; the easiest solution would be to have GT finish the next time they cross the line.
