I think everyone is pretty much in agreement that as cool as it would be to have a Porsche look-alike in the series, GT5 just hasn't given us the tools to do so.

Yep. No big deal though.

Since you brought it up, the Camaro will not return.

I'd love to have a Mustang in the series, but unfortunately the Mustangs in the game are awful. :/

Another gt5 screw up...

The mustang having the funky weight distribution is just really odd though.

Hmm, hope that doesn't mean there will be no American cars in GT. That would be a shame, although the Camaro blows. :yuck:

Why no Camaro .

The weight. I'm going for the 1,250ish kg range in GT.

There will be at least one American car in GT.

And with that, I will go to sleep now!

I've always had the feeling that the only Ford Yamauchi likes is the GT. But they did add the Mach 1 and it's pretty good. Newest Mustang in the game is almost 10 years old though? That sounds like typical Japanese bias to me.

Nothing we can do about it though.

We're pretty dang limited in GT car options though.

I want to keep it realistic, so what I may do for the next season is use a grand am approved car (a car that could be raced in real Rolex) for GT here, even if it has never raced in real life.

(You guys can keep discussing though)

Why not a return of the Evora and a Ford GT?

If there is no more options. We might just realy on a GX class.

no!!!!!!!!!

I checked the list of Grand Am approved GT cars and if you want to go around 1250 kg weight then these could work. I don't know what can and can't get aero though.

BMW M3 CSL ‘03
BMW M3 GTR ‘03
Corvette Z06 (C6) ‘06
Gallardo LP 560-4 ‘08
LFA ‘10
RX-8 Type S ‘07

The Evora just got approved this year, but no teams a using it at the moment. Why not the Premium M3.

Its not on Grand Am's list of approved GT cars for 2013. I picked those because those are the easiest to get to around 1250kg.

Hmm.. might be talking about GX.

Evora is gx legal. Right now, it looks like gt will be audi, ferrari, aston, and corvette. Viper might return. No gx. 3 classes won't work. The prototype situation is still classified atm between polar and I.

Aston are too heavy for GT. Maybe the BMW M3 '07.

Have you thought about using the premium arta garaiya? Looks vaguely like DP and is easily obtainable.

Would've been a good chose but I won't think it'll happen as every DP would have the same livery.

Maybe a TVR Cerberra Speed 12, you can put a wing on it and it can easily fall into DP specs :).

Has anyone suggested that the GT class go a full lap before DP? So it would be like this.

1. GT goes a full lap and pulls behind DP
2. DP goes a full lap with GT behind
3. Start the race when DP comes around and crosses the finish line.

Considering we usually end up more than a lap behind...

That would work as well. Run it by polar first lol. The prototype situation for next year has been figured out. I am not going to leak anything.

If this were to happen then the races would have to be however many laps +2 correct? GT has been averaging about 2 laps down at the finish so it should work.

I just hope you took the TVR and ARTA into consideration like the Zonda.

Yea, the hard part is getting GT two laps ahead.

What if there is a Caution in those first two laps?

Is the GT race just two laps shorter?

On topic, I may miss this weekend :(

Really :(. We'll now might see new leaders in Rolex and NAEC.
