About the whole DP slow down thing; the easiest solution would be to have GT finish the next time they cross the line.

That is another option. I'm really not sure. Would GT finish last season?

I think he means take GT results at the next time they cross the line after the DP leader does. They may not finish in the game, but the DPs wouldn't be a problem.

I know what he means. I'm thinking out loud

I think this is the best option so far. It makes the races more realistic as well...

Sure does. That will be the best option.

Anyways, I can announce The Rolex Sports Car Series, Season 5!

Yep! I made the announcement earlier than I do normally, but we were talking about it, so I felt now would be a good time.

I like damu's way ;). Still gotta find a new R390 because I messed mine up by the rigidity improvement :headbang:.

I can also say that both GT and DP will be getting redone specs.

You did say that the GT were 100kg more heavier. So I think we should get rid of the Aston and try to find a new car (Maybe a RUF).

I assume that the RUF is not an option due to difficulty to obtain; "Hello! Nissan the 2nd!"

I completely forgot how annoying that Nissan was to 🤬 find.

Even if several people had, it would be very hard to make it equal, as it doesn't have downforce iirc.

There is a Ruf that you can put a wing on, its from like 1987 (And looks more like the modern Porsches than the newest Ruf)

There is no Ruf in Season 5.

Okay, I was really referring to the newest Ruf.

Ruf is not good. Cant be specced evenly.

How do you guys's spec? I spec by taking cars on a track I know the most and is an all-round track. Keep on changeing the settings of the cars until there is only 2 milliseconds differents of each other.

Not even that, it just wouldn't look right.

I do 5 lap races with each car 3 times at each track at 3-5 tracks and average at each track and get them even.

Not even that, it just wouldn't look right.

The car would need outrageous amounts of horsepower to be competitive. It would turn into the Mazda lol.

I was thinking the RUF RGT.

Still wouldn't look right. No wing on the back and the headlights are massively different.

Anywho, so the plan for this weekend:

My RGT has a back wing and it looks like the 996 911 cars.

UPDATE: Still searching for new R390.

I'm talking about a GT Auto wing that generates downforce in the game.

And I really wouldn't worry about the rigid improvement. I don't think it does enough to warrant getting a new one.

It improves the car by not sliding alot however it slow's you down, ALOT.
I'll show you my RUF RGT at the race ;).

I have one. You're talking about the newest RUF in the game?

I think everyone is pretty much in agreement that as cool as it would be to have a Porsche look-alike in the series, GT5 just hasn't given us the tools to do so.

Might be the BTR and I reckon the Camaro should stay aswell.
