"A small house in Kyoto, Gion, is where Josh Takeshi lives. He lives with his childhood friend, Yumi. He goes to school and has a part-time job working in a convenience store with Yumi to keep the bills paid. He used to go mountain racing, but he was forced to move to Kyoto, because his mom found out of his racing. Yumi works at a convenience store with Josh to help with the bills.

His car is a turbocharged Civic Type-R. it produces about 400hp.

"Looking at your car again?"

"Hahaha, I'm sorry! I just can't help it! i love this car so much...

"Well, you'd better come up soon. We have to go to school tomorrow!"

"Yup! don't worry about me. I'll go in soon."

Next day, Josh and Yumi get up and go to school.

"I'll see you after work ok?"
"Alright! See you later!"

In the parking lot, Josh sees this Lancer Evolution parked.

"Wow! A real Evo! never got to see one in real life! I wonder who owns it though."

"Hi! Im Elcid. Im the owner of this car. Its a RALLIART tuned Evo! i work at RALLIART so i get a share of the goodies :)

"Cool! did you ever race it?

"Yup!, almost every night on the wangan."

"Oh, I've never tried Wangan racing before. Is it fun? I mean, all you guys ever do is go in a straight line right?

"It may sound easy at first, but try staying in a straight line at more than 250kmh. It may be a bit harder than you think."

"Hmmm, you think you can go with me to the Wangan tonight? i think my civic can take some racers there."

"Yeah! Why not? I'll go to your house, then lets go to the Wangan."

"Alright bro! By the way, my name is Josh. Josh Takeshi."

"Im Elcid. Elcid Gregory. See you later Josh.

"Yeah bro. see you later."





The school bell rings, signaling the end of school.

"I'll see you at my place at around 10pm alright?"

"Sure dude! See ya!"





Josh meets Yumi at the convenience store. He kinda likes Yumi, but he doesnt have the courage to tell her.

"Hey! whats up?"

"Huh, what do you mean? we're at work."

"Oh, i mean like, how was your day?"

"It was fine, i guess... School is boring. What do you want for dinner later?"

"Um, anything! I'll eat anything you cook anyway. :)"

"Okaayy... anyway, lets finish work early. I wanna rest at home. I've been feeling a bit sick lately."

"Alright! maybe i can cook dinner too."

"No way! i don't want my food to be burnt! :)

"Awww.... fine."



Josh and Yumi go back home, Yumi cooks dinner, while Josh gets his car ready for tonight.


"So, still tinkering around with your car?"

"Yup!, I met this dude at school who is comin over to bring me to the wangan for some races!"

"Huh? you're still into road racing? i thought you gave that up because your mom got angry."

"Well... Its my passion. i can't help it."

"Well im worried. You might get into an accident or something."

"don't worry! i'll be fine :) besides, i don't plan on going all-out tonight."

"Ok. but promise me one thing."

"Sure! What is it?"

"You'll come back here. Safe. Without a scratch."

"I Promise."


Josh and Yumi go inside to eat. just as they go in, Elcid arrives. Josh invites him inside to eat.


"Hey bro! you hungry?"

"Yeah dude! i forgot to eat dinner cuz i got excited."


"Oh yeah dude, *whispers* whos the girl you live with? she's cute!"

"Oh, thats Yumi. she's my friend. Well i kinda like her..."

"Go for her bro! she's cute!"

"Yeah, but im a bit shy... Well anyway, we should get going!"

"But wait, im not done with my chicken...."

"Bye Yumi!"

"Bye! Don't forget your promise!"

"Don't worry. I won't. :)"

"*sighs* If only you knew how i felt about you.."




Elcid and Josh get in the civic, and soon find their way onto the Wangan.

"Hey dude, check it out. theres an S13 Silvia up ahead. try and battle him! Just get behind and flash your lights!"

"Alright. Let me try."

And the civic passes the Silvia...

"Well that was easy. Is this all they do? Man i feel like king already."

"Easy now... don't get cocky. did you know there's a legendary Z32 that dominates this place?"

"Nope. How fast does he go?"

"Well over 320kmh. he has HUGE twin turbos."

"Well maybe i can beat him."

"Well that can only be proven if he was actually he- HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!"

"Huh? whats up?"

"HE'S BEHIND US!"

"huh? where is he- WOAH!


The legendary Z is tailgating Josh's Civic.

"So you wanna race huh? lets see!

So the civic downshifts, and when Josh steps on the gas, the sight of the Z overtaking him effortlessly just left him speechless.

"I guess its just too fast for me..."

"Why not get a new car? like a skyline or something."

"I guess, but how do i get the money for a skyline? i only have about 3,000,000 yen.

"Don't worry, i got a guy that can sell you one at that price."

"Wow really? but im not sure if I want to part ways with the civic just now.."

"No prob bro. I'll give you time to think. :) just give me a call if you're interested."

"Thanks!"


Josh drops off Elcid to his house, and Josh gets back home.




"Im Home!!!"


Yumi comes down to say hi.

"Whew! you came back! I'm happy :)"

"Why? do you miss me that much?"

"I just.. Kind of.. Like you...."

"Huh? Well... I kinda like you too..."

Nice story. Keep it up!

May I suggest? In your high speed car pics, you should set the Panning to Mode 3 and set the shutter speed ranging from 1/60 to 1/125 sec and then aperture at 11.0. That way, the car will be focused and not blurry and still looks that it's in motion. Try those settings and see the results for yourself. ;)

I've just read the first chapter. It's alright, but too heavy on dialogue. Don't be afraid to describe the surroundings, the atmosphere (weather etc.) and the moods of the characters. Here's an example below:

Chapter Two: Feel the power!!!



So the next day, Josh and Yumi get up for school as usual. Josh is eating breakfast, while Yumi just got out of her room, dressed already.



"Hey. Good morning :)"

"Hey! Stop wasting time and lets go to school already!"

"Huh? Relax! We just got up! Why not eat breakfast first?"

"Hmmm, maybe because we have our midterms today?? Did you forget?"

"OH YEAH I FORGOT! Let me get dressed first. give me five minutes."

"Wait, so what do think about last night?"

"Oh, you mean, like if, we're together?"

"Well, yeah.."

"Hmmm... I'll tell you after we get home from work okay? :)"

"Sure :)"

Josh and Yumi get to school, and Josh parks in the parking lot.


"See you at work!"

School Bell rings....

"Oh no! I might be late!"




Josh gets to his class just in time and finishes his exams. When Josh got to parking lot, he sees elcid looking at his car.



"Hey bro! Was just checking out your car. never really got a good look at it yesterday."

"Hey! so what do you think?"

"Well, I think this car won't be enough to beat the Legendary Z."

"Hey! dont knock my baby!"

"Well, unless if it could support about 600 horsepower, i don't think you can do much with this hatch."

"Hmmm.... yeah. Hey! wanna race later? on the wangan?

"Hahaha! what makes you think you'll beat me? I've got about 500 horses in my Evo."

"Anyone can talk big and lose... :sly:"

"You're on! And if you win, I'll even give you my car! But lose, and your gonna have to sell that car to me."

"Huh? why do you want my car?"

"Well it is more fuel-efficient than my Evo. Don't worry, I'll help you get another car. I have a dude right? :)"

"Hmmm.... Alright alright... So later on the Wangan?"

"Game on! See you later!"

"Bye!"




Josh and Yumi go to work. They are late because Josh had to buy gas. They finally arrive.



"Whew! and only 5 minutes late!"

"It's not okay to be late you know :)"

"Yeah... Don't worry its just the first time!"

"I suppose the manager won't get mad over 5 minutes."





Josh and Yumi go home.. Yumi goes inside to cook dinner. Josh follows, nervously wanting to ask Yumi if they want to be together. He finally does. YOLO right?



"So.... what do you think?"

"Huh? of what?"

"You know... Us."

"Oh, well... i guess, since we like each other, I don't see whats wrong with giving it a try :) do you want to?"

"Really? of course I would. :) I'd love to give it a try :)"

"Ok! Free up your sched tomorrow."

"Huh? why? whats up?"

"Because you're taking me out on a date. nothing fancy :)"

"Alright! Its a date!"



Josh and Yumi eat. Afterwards, Josh goes outside to get his car ready.



"Oil pressure... good. Tire pressure....good. Turbo pressure....good..."

"Goin somewhere?"

"Oh yeah thats right, im racing elcid tonight at the wangan."

"Oh, the dude from yesterday? he looks funny."

"Hahahaha yeah! but he's cool."

"So.... the promise still sticks alright?"

"Huh? what promise?"

"That you'll get home safe. not a scratch."

"Yupyup. don't worry :)"



Josh starts the car. As soon as he puts the car in first gear, Yumi knocks on the window.


"Huh? anything wrong?"

"You forgot something."

"What did I forget?"

"This."

Yumi gives Josh a kiss.

"WOAH! :)"

"I love you."

"Love you too. :)"


Josh leaves for the Wangan. Lovesick. As soon as he got there, he sees Elcid already on the freeway.

As Josh floors it, the Civic's lightweight advantage pulls him forward instantly overtaking him.

"Sure! i can win this!"


Josh's Civic is in front but, when the RALLIART prototype turbo spooled, and the loud whistle of the turbo was heard, the Evo was sure to win.

"Huh? what's that whistling noise? Wait, is that Elcid's car? Look at that speed!



Elcid left the Civic in the dust, the Mivec System plus the 4wd just stuck the Evo to the road, and propelled it to blinding speeds.

At the next corner, they both stop. Josh, shocked that his civic can't even beat Elcid's Evo, decides to sell Elcid the civic, and get a new car.

"Yeaah i guess so..."

"Hey dude, I'm just kidding. if you want to keep your car, its fine right? :)"

"Nope. I want to get a nicer car. for sure. I accept that my civic can't get better anymore. 1,500,000yen for the civic? Deal?"

"Alright bro! I'll give you the money tomorrow alright?"

"Alright bro! Good race! Well, I have to go home now, I have a girlfriend!"

"WOAH!? Girlfriend? You? Really? Who's the lucky girl? Or should i say unlucky? HAHAHAHA"

"Shut up man! at least I got a girl! Its Yumi. We're going on a date tomorrow."

"Really? Where are you guys gonna go?"

"Not sure yet. maybe Im gonna buy her a car. She has done lots for me. I mean, after i got kicked out by my mom, I had nowhere to go. Yumi took me in, and when she found a small apartment, she invited me to live with her. she means so much to me. :)"

"Huh? You got kicked out? for what? oh, and what do you plan on getting her?

"I'm thinking of a Cappuccino, or a Vitz. Yeah, i got caught mountain racing."

" Bummer. Alright! Anyway, hope you guys have fun!"

"Sure bro! I'll bring over the papers for the Civic tomorrow alright?"

"Yup! See you!"




Josh drives home. He leaves Elcid with a cloud of smoke. He thinks about what to get Yumi.

Josh gets home, parks his car infront of the house. He is greeted by Yumi, sitting on the front porch, drinking hot chocolate.

"Aww... thanks. Oh and by the way..."

"Sup?"

"I decided to sell this car to Elcid. Im bringing him the papers tomorrow."

"What? Are you serious? What about our date tomorrow night?"

"Don't worry. :) I got this."

"Okay okay... Well im glad you're safe :)"

"Well, I'm glad you're safe too."




Josh and Yumi go to bed. Josh thinks about what car should he get for Yumi, and what car should he get for racing.


"Hey Yumi, ever think of driving?"

"Oh, actually, I'm saving up for a car. I'm mean, what's the point of having a license if you dont have a car, right?"

"Yeah, what kind of car would you prefer?

"Well, i was thinking like a blue hatchback, with big power, but not bad for fuel economy. any suggestions?"

"Oh, sorry... I erm, don't know of such a thing...

"Um, okayy.... Let's sleep?"

"Sure sure. :)



" *thinking* What car should i get? Oh wait, I know exactly what I want.

It's a nice story :) I will definitely be waiting for the next chapters ^^ i wanna know more about how Josh acts in school though, does he have friends aside from Elcid that race as well?
 
Interesting story. I'll make sure to keep reading this one.
A suggestion though, leave out the emoticons. When there's a smiley after every line of dialogue, it can be distracting. But other than that, cool story bro. :sly:
 
CHAPTER 3: Goodbye Civic, Hello first date!





As the sun rises above the city, Josh gets up earlier than Yumi. He calls Elcid on the phone to arrange the meetup.



"Hey bro! so where are we doing this?"

"Oh! i was thinking at my garage. That way, we can arrange the papers, and I have a friend that can look for a car for you and Yumi!"

"Alright! I'll be on my way!"



So Josh goes with Elcid to his garage.

"Yeah. His name is Enzo. I called him earlier, he said he'll come by. Besides, what car are you looking for?"

"Well, I was thinking any kind of GT-R for me, but for Yumi, i thought of a Vitz. Specifically a blue Vitz."

"Oooohh.... Well i suppose Enzo probably has something like that."

"Yeah. Let me move the Civic inside. there might not be enough space for Enzo to park."

"Alright bro go ahead!"



The Civic is parked inside the garage. When Josh went back out, he sees a Red VW Samba bus. A man with dreadlocks emerged from the vehicle, and went to Elcid's side.

"Josh, this is Enzo. He receives cars overseas, and sells it at a profit."

"Hello Josh! Im Enzo Muno. I come from the lovely land of Jamaica. What can i do for you brah?"

"Hey dude, Elcid said you could hook me up. got anything worth looking at?"

"I always got what you need bro!"

Enzo handed a Green catalogue to Josh.

"Huh? What are all these herbs? Where are the cars?"

"OH, oops brah wrong catalogue! here! This Red catalogue might have what you want."

"*facepalm* Errr.... wrong catalogue again..."


Josh opens the catalogue, he sees a list of cars, neatly organised with pics. All he had to do was pick it out, and Enzo would have it brought over.


"Wow. So much cars. great prices too."

"What'd I tell you huh! Is he the man or what?


As Josh is flipping the pages, he sees a car in the listing. It was a white R32 GT-R, BC rims, high pressure turbo, professional suspension. 2,880,000yen only.

"Hey, you think you can get me this GT-R?"

"Yeahh dude! Anythin for meh good brah! But, that ride is still being imported."

"Oh, don't worry Josh. I'll deliver it personally at your house alright?"

"Oh, alright bro! Btw Enzo, do you have any blue hatchbacks? Preferably with a lot of power, but not bad with fuel?"

"Of course brah! I got just what you need!"



Enzo flips the catalogue to the special ex-demo cars list. He shows Josh an Ex-demo Yashio Factory Vitz. Supercharged. For only 1,470,000yen.

"Woah. Yashio Factory. 174 hp too. I'll take it! Do you have that car now?"

"Of course meh brah. Let me get it from my warehouse. I'll be right back!"


Enzo starts up his VW. The classic engine coughs to life. One could tell that it wasn't maintained properly. It leaves a pungent smell reminiscent of burning grass.

" *thinking*Damn, does his engine run on those herbs too?"

"So, you plan to surprise Yumi with the Vitz? I'm sure she'll love it man! Who knew, Josh Takeshi could be so sweet...."

"Shut up man! I just do every thing i can to make her happy!"



After a while, Josh and Elcid hear a loud sound, accompanied by a whining noise. They could see a blue hatchback coming.

"Woah, that must be the Vitz. I can heard the whine of the supercharger from here!

The Vitz parks beside Elcid's car.

"So how do you like it brah?"

"Looks great man! I'll take it! Here's the cash for the GT-R and the Vitz."

Josh hands over 4,350,000yen to Enzo.

"Nice doing business with you meh brah! Call me if you need anything! Elcid, could you give me a ride home?"

"Wait! Can we see how she runs? How about a small fun run around here?"

"Sure! But lets be quick!"


As Elcid and Josh rev up their cars, the air is soon filled with the smell of engines. As Josh let go of the brake, the chase started.

"Hah! you're no match for my straight-line speed!"


Josh turns hard to test the suspension settings. Elcid brakes hard though, going inside too fast.

Elcid recovers, and is already on Josh's tail.

The straightaway is here, and Elcid sees his advantage to overtake..

"Hahahaha see ya Elcid. Gotta pick up Yumi at school now!"




Josh texts Yumi to wait for him at school to pick her up. Josh gets there, and sees Yumi. He honks the horn and waves, and Yumi gets inside. Yumi is instantly in love with the car.

"Like the new car?"

"Like it?! I LOVE IT! Is this what's replacing the Civic?"

"Nope. I got this for you."

"HUH?! YOU GOT ME A CAR?! this better not be one of your stupid jokes Josh..."

"I'm serious babe. It's a gift for taking care of me since i got kicked out by my mom."

"Awww... Thanks babe!"

And Josh gets a kiss from Yumi...

"Alright! So where do you wanna go?"

"Well, since you got me this car, I think i want to drive it."

"Okay! Why not? Lets switch seats, the lets try her out on R246 roads."


Yumi gets on the wheel, and goes to R246 roads...

Yumi pushes the car to its limits... Josh is surprised she could drive like this.

Yumi slows down to talk...

"Well, don't get mad. I sometimes take your Civic out for some practice..."

"Oh, so I guess you like to race too?"

"Well, a bit only. I don't really race. I just wanna have fun!"

"Well, you should join some open track days! You're pretty good!"

"Aww really? Thanks babe!"


Yumi floors it again. They do this for a couple of hours, until they realize its almost about 6pm.

"Oh yeah, where do you wanna eat?"

"Oh, I heard of this place called the Red Bull Resto! You could park your car inside the almost all-glass exterior and admire the lights!"

"Alright then! lets head there!"



Yumi and Josh head to the Red Bull Resto. they park the Vitz inside, and they sit in an Italian resto.

"I'll have some pizza. Wanna share a pepperoni?"

"Sure! I love pepperoni!"




Josh and Yumi eat. Afterwards, they go back home. Yumi and Josh go inside the house, and go up to bed.

Chapter 3 was really great. I just think you could describe things with a bit more of details but you're doing good can't wait for Chapter 4 :D

CHAPTER 4: R Power!



The next day, Josh wakes up with a surprise parked in front of his house.





"Oh my god its here!!!"

Yumi steps out, trying to see why Josh is excited.

"Whats with all the noi- WHAT IS THAT? ANOTHER CAR?"

"Say hello to the Civic's replacement!"

"It looks cool! Not as cute as my Vitz though..."

Josh goes around the car, checking out what modifications have been made

"Judging by the turbo settings, and the exhaust system, I think this puts out about 500hp."

"You think you can handle that?"

"Hmmm.... Yeah, maybe. Let's test it after school alright?"

"Alright! We better get dressed then. Lets take my Vitz to school!"

"Alright!"



So Josh and Yumi go to school. Yumi drops off Josh while she parks the Vitz.

The bell rings, and Josh gets to his class.

"Ugh. I cant wait till I graduate. Schools so boring..."

Elcid walks in and sits beside Josh

"Hey bro! So, what do you think of the GT-R?"

"Looks great man! Yumi and I are gonna try it out on the wangan later! Wanna try and beat me?"

"Hah! If you can! My ride left your Civic like it was parked! what makes you think this car will make a difference?"

"Maybe cuz the GT-R is 4WD and has about 500hp..."

"Hmmm... Yeah. We'll see! Oh dude, I never got to ask, how did your mom catch you racing?"

"Well, its a long story..."

"Tell me all about it! We have this period to ourselves anyway..."

"Alright alright... So, it was midnight. All the racers gather up around the top of Trial Mountain..."

"There was this famous 86 that killed almost all the competition there. His technique was just superb."

"One day, I decided to challenge him. It took awhile to schedule the battle though, because no one really knew how to reach him. Anyway, we scheduled the battle. It was going to be on Trial mountain. The event was so big, that almost everyone who lived there knew that the famous 86 was gonna battle against me.

"So I tell my mom i was gonna hang with friends. It was my usual excuse whenever i went out to race. So, I made it to Trial Mountain. It was gonna be a cat and mouse race. I was ready. I just had my Civic's engine tuned up. Back then, i had no turbo, so my Civic was only about 250hp."

"So the race started. I was the cat. he had to get away from me to win. As the first corner approached, I watched his technique and followed his every move."

"He had this method of slamming his tires into the inner gutter of the turn. I have heard of this technique in a TV show before. Coincidentally, the protagonist in that show was also driving an 86."

Anyway, he couldn't get away from me. When it was my turn to be the mouse, I saw my mom at the starting line, with my bag. She drops it in front of my car, and says "don't ever come back. Hashiriya.", from there, I tried to talk to her, but she just ignored me. I lost the urge to race, and I just forfeited."


"So thats it? How'd you end up with Yumi?"

"Oh, Yumi was my best friend in school. After graduation, she invited me to move to Kyoto with her. Ever since then, I just got a job to pay for tuition and bills."

"Ah... I see. So wheres the 86 now? any plans of battling him again?"

"Not really. Im into wangan racing now. My focus is on the Z32 that beat us the other day. Once I tune the GT-R, who knows? I might get to beat that Z."




School bell rings, Josh overhears a group of seniors talking about Yumi

Earl: "Dude, have you seen that Yumi girl? She's so hot I dream of her every night!"

Dave: "Yeah bro! I heard she's with this guy named Josh though. He must've paid her to be with him."


Josh, disgusted, goes to them.

"Stop it. Now."

"Huh? Who's this sophomore punk? Imma beat you up right now!"

"Wait a minute, you're Josh right? Hows Yumi? I bet she like it if she was with us instead of you."


Elcid walks over to help Josh

"Anything wrong josh?"

"These seniors are talking about Yumi. You better stop. Or else."

"Or else what? You're gonna try and race me? I bet your Civic cant even reach 200kmh. hahahaha!"

"Is that it huh? you wanna race? Fine. be at Route 7 tonight. Pink slips. deal?"

"Hah! Pinkslips! Winner takes my Supra!"

"You better say goodbye to your Civic tonight!"

"Don't worry. I'm not bringing the Civic."

"What are you bringing then? Your boyfriends matchbox?"

"Shut up. I'd love to see you try and beat his GTR."

"Huh? GT-R? Earl, i think we should call it quits. lets apologize."

"Huh? HELL NO! My supra has 550hp in it. I ain't losing to this punk! See you later at route 7."


The seniors leave. Josh calls Yumi that he won't be at work today.

"Hey babe, I wont be at work today. gotta take care of something important. see you at home."

"Huh? why? are you sick?"

"I will tell you at home okay? bye."

"Oh... alright. see you at home!"

Josh closes the phone, and tells Elcid to take him to a tuning garage.

"do you plan on upgrading the GT-R for tonight?"

"Yup. Nobody talks about Yumi like that. Nobody."



By nighttime, the GT-Rs power rises to 652hp.

"Damn. now thats some power."

"Yeah dude. makes me scared to even try to battle you."

Yumi arrives at home. She sees Elcid and Josh tinkering around with the GT-R.

"So this is what kept you from work?"

"I'll explain in the car babe. Lets go Elcid."

"Sure bro!"



They make their way to route 7. Josh explains the situation.

"At school, there were these seniors who were talking about you..."

"What about me?"

"They said things about you that i didnt like."

"Hmmm.... Like what?"

"Well, there was this guy who was fantasizing about you, and another guy who said you'd be rather off with them than me... so I got pissed."

"Oh.. Then lets look forward to kicking their ass."

"Alright!"



The seniors text Josh to meet them at the first corner.

"Elcid, park here with Yumi. If something happens, please take her home."

"Sure bro. Are you gonna be alright?"

"Yeah. I just don't want anything to happen to Yumi IF something does happen."

"Hey. Don't forget your promise!"

"Don't worry. I never did!"

Both cars line up, soon, they are off.

"Just that he really likes you. When he overheard those seniors, he was kinda pissed."

Meanwhile, Josh floors it. The RB26DETT Engine screams past the supra.

"Here are the keys bro."

"Thanks. Elcid will drop you off at the next station."


Elcid arrives. Earl gets in elcid's car. Yumi goes directly to the Supra

"Bye Elcid. thanks for taking care of Yumi."

"Anytime bro! Now get in here Earl."

"Wow! another car! are we keeping this one?"

"Oh, I thought of selling it actually. I can make a profit out of this."

"Awww.... alright. can I take it for a run? With you?"

"Sure sure."

So Josh and Yumi drive on the Wangan.

CHAPTER 5: Big brother!


Josh wakes up. he goes down to find Yumi cooking breakfast.


"Hey! Awake already?"

"Oh, I havent finished my report, so I woke up early and finished it."



Phone rings.....

"I got it!"



Josh answers the phone

"Hello?"

"Hello? Is this Josh?"

"Yeah. may i know whos calling?"

"Hey Josh. Its your brother, Bill. Im in Japan for a business meeting. Can I drop by later?"

"Oh! Whats up? Yeah sure. Maybe come around 7pm? Do you need me to pick you up anywhere?"

"Im fine. Don't worry I have a car. See you around dinner! Bye!"

"Bye!"

Josh puts down the phone.


"Hey, who was it?"

"Oh its my brother. He's in town, and I invited him over for dinner. Is that alright?"

"Yup its fine. He lives in Germany right?"

"Yeah. he works for Mercedes."

"Wow. So does he race?"

"I think only professionally. He never really liked the street racing scene."

"Alright alright. Lets get dressed for school!"

"Sure!"



Josh and Yumi get in the Vitz. They arrive at school, and Yumi parks it.

Once Josh gets to class, he notices that everyone is looking at him strangely. Elcid approaches him.

"Dude, everyones talking about your monster GT-R!"

"Oh crap. I hope this news doesnt get me in trouble..."

"Isn't it cool? I mean, we'll be finishing our second year in a few weeks. Once summer comes, we can do all the racing we ever dreamed of doing! By the time we get to third year, we'll be famous! think of all the parties, and girls, and more girls...."

"Hahahaha! I already have a girlfriend bro!"

"Oh well. More girls for me then. Oh yeah, what are you gonna do to your Supra?"

"I was thinking of selling it to Enzo. Maybe i can get a good price."

"Oooh... What are you gonna do with the money?"

"Maybe save up... or upgrade the GTR even more."

"Oh, which reminds me, Enzo gave me a box of brownies for you. He said to eat it whenever youre happy. Not sure what that means though..."

"Oh, alright alright. thanks man."



School ends. Yumi and Josh go straight to the convenience store...

"Well, I was thinking of putting aero kits. More downforce means more stability."

"There you go again with your car language. Whats downforce?"

"Oh, its a long explanation. When a car is fitted with spoilers, bumpers, etc. they have these blades that are pointed down to achieve stabili-"

"Never mind! I got lost when you said spoilers."

"Awww..... alright alright."





Work ends and they go home. They see a GTR R35 parked in the driveway.

A man wearing a business suit gets out. Its Bill Takeshi, Josh's brother.


"Oh wow. Of course its my brother."


Josh and Yumi get out of the Vitz...

"Hows my lil' bro! I see you've found yourself a girlfriend."

"Hey Bill. You remember Yumi right? she was our neighbor when we were living with mom?"

"No way! Thats Yumi? Wow! look how beautiful you've grown!"

"Aww!! Thanks Bill!"

"So, has my brother been taking care of you? Or are you taking care of him? HAHAHAAH!"

"Hahahaha!"

"Jeez shut up you guys!"


They go inside to eat dinner...

"So hows Germany?"

"Its been great! We've sold loads of Mercedes cars this month. I raced in the Nurburgring too."

"Im lovin your GT-R outside. How much hp?"

"Oh that? About 800hp. I had it imported from Germany. Thats the actual GT-R that set the famous 7:26 lap time at the 'Ring. I had it tuned to keep up with the wangan racers here, but I cant really find anyone worth battling."

"You've been racing already? I thought you didnt like street racing."

"Well, I kinda enjoy the smooth power of the GT-R, So I tend to go 300kmh whenever I can. In all out mode, I can reach about 340 kmh."

"Damn. my GT-R can only do about 310kmh."

"Wow. 340kmh. Aren't you scared of crashing?"

"Not really. If you do it often, you get used to it."


Dinner ends.

"Hey Josh, wanna take the GT-R for a test drive?"

"Sure! why not? Yumi! wanna come?"

"Oh, no thanks! I'm kinda scared of going above 310kmh, so no!"

"Oh, aryt aryt... see you later then!"

"Yup! your promise sticks!"

"Don't worry! love you!"



Josh takes Bill to the Wangan to try out the R35.

Meanwhile, at home...Yumi is watching TV. theres a sad movie on.

"Awww... the dog is sick. They should take him to the vet.

"Im hungry. Oh right. Josh brought home a box of brownies. I wonder if they taste good."

Yumi finds the box of brownies. She reads the card on the box.

"To Josh. Don't worry be happy. Jeez. always with the jamaican mumbo jumbo. Lets see how these brownies taste!"


Yumi eats one brownie. Meanwhile, on the Wangan.

Josh floors it. The GTR's VR38DETT Engine roars, overtaking the porsche, but somehow, the porsche manages to stay right behind.

"I know. that porsche must be tuned well."

The GTR only leaves the porsche behind when they reach about 350 kmh.

"Still though. that porsche was fast. I wonder whos driving."


Meanwhile, Yumi, manages to finish the whole box of brownies, and she feels funny.

"HAHAHAHA I love this movie!!! Its funny because the dog died, and they buried him! HAHAHAHAHA"

"Whew! I am soooooooo hungry! Better call Josh to pick up food for me!"

Yumi dials Josh...

"Hello? Joshh!!!"

"Uh, Yumi? you alright?"

"Yeah! I'm just soooo hungry..... AND I LOVE YOU!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!"

Call ends.

"Huh? Bill, I think we need to go home. Yumi is not feeling well... I think."

"Oh.. alright alright. I'm staying in Japan for a while, so lets meet up here on the wangan sometime alright? just give me a call."

"Alright bro. Just drop me off at home."


Bill drops off Josh. Josh hurries inside to check on Yumi.

"Yumi?! Where are you?"

Yumi is inside her Vitz. The Vitz isn't started. Yumi is inside making car noises. Josh opens the door.

"Yumi?"

"OH!! Youre heeere!! hahahaha! please bring me to bed im sooooo tired....... You knoww I love youuu soooooooo much!......."

Yumi falls asleep on josh's chest. Meanwhile, Josh lays Yumi down on the couch first to check why shes like that. He notices the empty brownie box.

"Maybe its Enzo's brownies.."

The brand of the brownies say: Special brownies made to be happy....

"Oh god. these must be stoner brownies. hahahaha! Yumi ate them all! thats why shes acting like that!"


Josh lays Yumi on her bed, then he also gets ready to sleep.

"I can't stop thinking about that porsche..."

"I can't believe Yumi is High. hahahaha!"



He goes to sleep...
