CHAPTER 6: Goodbye X. Hello Z.
The next day, Yumi wakes up, with a huge headache. Josh is downstairs cooking breakfast.
"Ugh.... What happened last night??"
"Hahaha! the brownies Enzo sent us, were stoner brownies. How do you feel?"
"Stupid. like my brain is lagging. How did I end up in my bed though? I dont remember going to bed..."
"Oh, I brought you up to your bed. You were in your car making noises, and you passed out."
"Ugh.. Damn.. I dont think I can go to school today..."
"Yeah. Please get some rest. I'll just bring your homework here when I get back."
"Thanks babe."
Yumi goes upstairs to rest. Josh gets ready for school, and uses the GT-R.

Josh's cellphone rings because of a text. Josh reads it.
"Good day sir. This is the Tokyo Medical center. We regret to inform you that Mr. Elcid Gregory was involved in a crash on Trial Mt. Don't worry sir, Mr. Gregory has sustained only minor injuries. He shall be discharged this afternoon. Mr. Gregory has requested you to pick him up. Thank you for your time."
"Why was he on Trial Mt. anyway? I hope he's fine."
School bell rings, Josh gathers Yumi's homework, and goes straight to the hospital. He arrives, and goes to the front desk.

Down the hall, he sees Elcid with scratches and bruises, but nothing broken.
"There you are. I was wondering why you weren't at school today. How are you dude?"
"Hey. I'll explain in the car man."
They get in the GT-R. Elcid starts to explain the crash.
"So..... What happened?"
"Well, I wanted to try my Evo's suspension settings, so I went to Trial Mt. for some Touge action.

He bumped me while i was turning into a corner. I tried to drift it, but I hit the guardrail, and totaled the Evo.

"Damn man.. I wonder who was driving the R-X8 though. Oh yeah, Yumi accidentally ate all of Enzo's brownies. They were stoner brownies. Yumi was so high last night! It was hilarious! Oh, my brother was at my house last night."
"Your brother? The one from Germany?"
"Yup! he has this NISMO tuned R35. It puts out about 800hp. That thing's sick man! We beat this black porsche on the wangan. we reached about 350kmh."
"Woah! 350kmh! Wait, did you say black porsche?"
"Yeah dude. A black one with bronze wheels. Pretty quick too."
"Dude! that was the Shadow of Route 7! Its rumored that his porsche is an EX-GT500 racecar. He's a very tough opponent. The Legendary Z is nothing compared to that!"
"Hah! I think my GT-R can beat anything if I upgrade it more. I think I'm gonna go to the Wangan later to try and find the Z.
"Oh, you are? Damn. If only I had my Evo. Can I ride with you when you challenge him?"
"Yeah dude! Might as well just stay my house till later."
"Sure!"

Yumi goes to the kitchen. Elcid and Josh step out to give the R32 a checkup for tonight's battle with the Z.
"Turbo pressure... Good, Oil pressure..... Good, Wow. I love the GT-R's setup tonight. I think it can reach about 340kmh. Hopefully that'll be enough to kill that Z."
"I think its capable actually. Especially with the stability of 4WD. Hopefully that Z shows up though."
"Guys! Dinner time!"
Josh and Elcid go in to eat dinner.
"Wow Yumi! This Katsudon is great!"
"Yeah! I LOVE IT! I better slow down though..... I don't want to choke..."
"Awww thanks guys! Are you guys going to the wangan to race?"
"Yeah. the opponent tonight will be the Legendary Z. I hope I can beat him."
"Why? Is he quick?"
"Yeah. He kills almost all the competition on the wangan."
"Well, anyway, I guess I'm gonna stay here and watch TV. there a new soap opera on."
"Hahahaha alright... No more brownies!"

The mighty RB26DETT Engine roars, overtaking the Z, but the Z's highly tuned VG30DETT engine catches up to him, only leaving a small gap between the Z and the GT-R.

"Ugh. Just as I thought. That Z must be very powerful. I guess its just a top speed battle from here. Let's see what you got!"
The GT-R and the Z reach speeds over 330kmh.
"Damn. The gap is still small... Hey Elcid, what do you think is under the hood of th- ELCID! are you ok?!"
Elcid has passed out in the passenger seat.
"Ugh... It's ok.... I'm fine man......"
Then, the GT-R widens the gap slowly, at a mind-blowing 350kmh.

Suddenly, the Z slows down to the side of the road. Josh stops too, to meet the Z's driver.

"That's great bro... yeah sure, I'll be out."
Josh and Elcid get out of the GT-R. Both of them were surprised when the driver of the Z is actually a girl.
"Gee, I'm gonna ask him whats under the ho- WOAH!!!!! ITS A GIRL!! A HOT GIRL!!!"
"Hi. My name is Josh Takeshi. This is my friend Elcid. You're Z is pretty quick!"
"Hey! My name is Rikako. Rikako Shino. You're GT-R is pretty fast too. I had to slow down because my Z somehow lost pressure from the other turbine. It almost overheated too. It was a good race though. I accept defeat."
"Yeah. pretty good race!"
"Wait, Is your brother Bill? Bill Takeshi?"
"Yeah. Why?"
"Oh. nothing. Heres my number. We'll race again when i get my Z fixed! Bye."
Rikako gets in the Z, and goes. Elcid is speechless because of her beauty. They make their way back home too.
"Hmmm... Weird. Why does she know Bill?"

"Cant you think of anything besides girls?"

Josh drops off Elcid at his house.
"Bye! Let me know if you're meeting up with Enzo. I still have a Supra to sell!"

It was dark, and raining hard. Josh wakes up, and goes down. He finds Yumi, brewing coffee.
"Good morning babe. Schools suspended for today because of the rain. Work is off for today too, the store is flooded."
"Wow, the rain is that strong? Well, I guess we can just chill and stay at home then."
"Yup. Oh, is it alright if you can pass by Harumi's house?"
"Huh? Who's Harumi?"
"Oh, shes my friend in school. Shes bored, so I invited her to our house, but her Lancer doesnt want to start. Is it alright if you can go pick her up?"

"Thanks! Its 37 Eiger st. I think you need to take Route 7 to go there."

Josh grabs the keys to the GT-R, then starts it.

"My GT-R is dead. It needs a new engine. I guess both of us dont have cars."
