The Le Mans Endurance Event@ Le Sarthe I

Welcome to the place where the cars of this series come to life, and breathe the fire in their bellies out of their tailpipes!
First, allow me to apologise for the delayed start to this round, it was caused by circumstances beyond my control, and I will try not to let it happen again!
This is a slight departure from the norm where GT Planet racing is involved, and we hope that you will enjoy it more for that fact.
We will not be racing to a specific number of laps, we will however be racing to a time-frame.
Phil and I have wracked our brains to get some sort of correlation between this race and the Le Mans 24hr, and hopefully this will suffice.
You will race until the time allowed expires and then complete the lap you are on, making a note of the lap count!!!!.
The time limit SHOULD give you time to do 23 laps-ish + the final lap ( I know you were looking for the 24 connection somewhere!!!)
You will then save your replay.
The time displayed in the replay screen is the exact time that you crossed the line at the end of your last completed lap.
So, when you send your results it will involve the number of completed laps, and the time that you completed them in.
The highest lap count is the winner, but in the event of a draw, the lowest total time is the clincher.
Example: Driver A does 24 laps total in 1:2225.234, driver B also does 24 laps but in only 1:2223.945.
Driver B wins!
All you have to do is to set the number of laps in the race options screen to at LEAST 30 laps, then start the race as normal.
You then race as normal UNTIL the time limit (1 Hour and 20 minutes) runs out, and complete the lap you are on, and exit the race.
This is the time you send to myself, along with the number of laps you completed (including the lap you finished after the time limit expired)

Therefore you have 2 weeks including 2 weekends to complete both qualifying and the race.
Please PM your qualifying / Race time & fastest lap-time for your chosen car to myself (Tyre King) before the deadline. (Format at bottom of page)
Final Words:
You are free, in-fact actively encouraged, to discuss ALL times in qualifying, and you can discuss fastest lap times in the race, just not your final times.
You are also encouraged to give details on tyre-wear, handling, and anything else relating to the cars.
But above all, have fun.
Any problems, just PM either myself or Phil and we will sort it ASAP.
Let's have at it!
